Probably the only tier I'm going to have on this site, as I mostly just want to use the tip jar, but this tier is for those who enjoy my content and want to give a little per month for it.

Hey there. Another retro video game review I did back on January of 2019.

Hey there, folks, it's my second review. This time, I will be reviewing probably one of the first adult games I ever played: Planet of Terror. Sure, it sounds more like a horror game than an adult game, but I guess it could be considered a little bit of both?
Planet of Terror is a flash game* developed by Swiss Made Games. In this game, you're in space and your spaceship crashes on a planet full of creatures who want to take you out for ice cream.
And fuck you. Actually, forget the ice cream. They just want your goods. But fear not, your heroine is packing some serious heat and is not afraid to defend herself. Shoot your way through five stages and you're back on a spaceship and the horrors are behind you … or were they really horrors?
Now, I love this game, but I can see where people wouldn't. This game is not hard … at all. Truth be told, that could be why I like it so much. But it's a simple point and shoot and most of the enemies are pretty slow. There's only one stage where I would consider it a little challenging and that is the tentacle monster, but emphasis on a LITTLE challenging.
Each stage works the same. You shoot multiple targets and at the end of each stage, there is a boss fight. The bosses are a little more challenging than their cronies, I guess you'd call them (I don't know. There isn't a Planet of Terror wiki that I could find!). But for the most part, the bosses are really easy too and some can be defeated by just shooting them a couple times.
Despite that, I'd love to see a sequel be made. Hey, Swiss Made, you looking for a writer? I'm serious! This game is very easy, yes, but the animations and art is pretty good. If you're into monsters, aliens, or whatever, then this game is right up your alley. I replay this every now and then just for nostalgic purposes and I have fun with it.
This game is also partly responsible for inspiring me to write my series, Monsters Under My Bed.
Yes. Short review, but it's a short game. If there is an adult game you'd like me to review, then by all means, get a hold of me and I'll definitely look into it. Take care and keep playing!
*Despite Flash going the way of the Dodo bird a couple years ago, the game still works on all the sites I've tried it.
