The onboarding process had been smooth.
Nir had been welcomed in quite readily. As a guest and frequent customer, he had his name on the hotel’s files for a long time. And as such, they knew he was qualified for the role he applied for:
Technician and Product Quality Assurance Tester.

It wasn’t like that there was much for the position to do. The hotel was still just that; a hotel. At most, the Q&A testers would be asked to test out new means of entertainment, such as new venues and new equipment.
The biggest issue for Q&A were the new versions of the Silk Bots.
Upgrading to a new software system always came with inevitable bumps and stumbles, but Nir was tasked with helping smooth these sorts of issues out.
The prototype Silk Bot was currently sat on Nir’s shoulder, clinging like a silvery epaulet. It was bigger than its predecessor, but it hosted quite an expanded silk canister inside…
Despite being just a little machine, he had grown inordinately attached to it. It had provided quite the service for him, and he’d ensured it could be identified by a little smiley face sticker on its abdomen.
Nir smiled as he took it along to his own private office. It wasn't exactly huge, but it was clean and worked for his purposes. Using the keycard granted to him, hebwould head down a back hallway to unlock his office… Office 340.
The interior wasnt terrible at all. It had a desk, a few filing cabinets, and most importantly, space to let the Silk Bot move and work out its many kinks.
“Alright. Let’s get started.” The sergal said, settling in and getting started on paperwork. “Silk bot. If you could please get me a drink?”
The bot would jitter slightly, climbing down from his shoulder to settle on his desk. It opened a compartment to reveal a small keypad, allowing him to type in a number to place his order…
“Hmm.” He referred to the hotel’s room service menu, tapping his chin. “Lets start with something easy.” He selected a brand of cola that the hotel stocked, and would send the bot on its way.
No more than 15 minutes and the bot would return, a chilled canned beverage within its midsection compartment…
“Alright, that looks good.” He scribbled down the results on his notes, nodding. “Thank you.” Nir couldn’t help but smile as the little robot swayed back and forth on its many legs, moving side to side in reply to his gratitude.
They had inspected the silk bots that had been fitted for maintenance and locating faults and breaks in the building’s infrastructure earlier that day. So all that was left to test was the bondage function. The program hadn’t been released to the general public yet, it was still in testing. As such, Nir had the beta copy put into the little Silkbot he had been assigned.
“Alright. Let’s activate Bondage Mode. We can start with something light. You ready?”
Another affirmative waggle of legs and its abdomen.
The Silk Bot hopped up, spraying its silk and working on yanking the sergal’s arms behind him.
Tugging movements firm but not jarring, able to move at least 15 lbs/6.8 kg of flesh without difficulty.
Nir made a few mental notes as he struggled, working on trying to resist the Silk Bot. He had been told to go wild without trying to fight it off, save for actually breaking it…but it was able to loop the silken rope around his wrists, pulling it taut.
Silk manufactured to emulate most standard ropes in a more flexible form, very good.
The Silk Bot leapt down, running a trail of thread down his body and working on binding his ankles and knees. The cuff like ties were new, done quickly and before Nir had a chance to react.
Reaction time and movement speeds are up, able to wrap me up without too much struggle. And the ropes are hard to pull from…
Eventually, the Silk bot pulled him to the bed, letting him sit. “Okay! Okay! That’s enough! Cease!” He yelled, squirming. The Silk Bot would freeze, settling down as he started struggling… the silk was high quality stuff, slightly sticky without pulling on fur or chaffing sensitive skin…
“Alright. Not bad. The ties are all standard, mhm…” he tugged and assessed the quality of the ties, the knots and bindings… “Tight enough to hold people, not tight enough to be too uncomfortable. Good. Alright. Code number 902.”
He spoke the code, overriding the Silk Bot’s programming and causing it to undo what it had just done. It would carefully undo the bindings, recycling the webbing as it cleaned up after itself…
“That’s taken care of…” Nir stood up, stretching and checking his wrists and ankles. No deep marks, just slightly tugged on fur. He sat down, working on taking down the notes… when his phone rang.
“Ughhhhh…” he picked up, slamming his pen down. “Yes ma’am? What’s up?” He paused, letting his boss speak. “Oh? Needed in the main lobby? Fine, fine, Ill be there.”
Nir stood up again, talking on the phone as he moved to the door. The Silk Bot made a leap for his shoulder and missed. The Sergal didn't seem to notice as he strode off, shutting the door behind him…
The Silk Bot had jostled a component in its processor, and was jittering as it tried to make sense of the error messages littering its internal screen…

The meeting had been two hours.
Nir was just more tired than he cared to admit. As much as he liked this job, there were plenty of times where he wished he didn’t have to sit through the yap-fest that was team meetings…
He opened his door, turning on the lights… and running directly into a huge spider web.
“What the-?! HEY!” He gasped, squirming and struggling in the thick layers of silk… now that he was able to properly look, the entire office had been webbed up, top to bottom… and from above, the Silk Bot would jitter and crawl down over him. It latched onto the back of his head, slowly spinning up a swatch of webbing up…
“No, no, no! Code 9-MRGGH THHH! NNH MMGH THHH!” Nir struggled to speak the code that would shut the bot down… but it was too late. It had wrapped a thick sheet of webbing over his muzzle, sealing it shut tightly… and now, Nir could only watch helplessly as it scuttled down to work on the rest of him.
The more he struggled, the tighter the bot pulled on his bindings. Nir shook his head as he ended up tangling his limbs more and more, only aided by his new captor… he could feel the way that the bot pulled and tugged, drawing his limbs in closer to his body, how each small movement tightened his confinement little by little.
It took some time, but soon he was completely encased in a tight, sticky cocoon. He could only helplessly struggle, feeling the way it tugged on his fur and made it hard to find purchase with his webbed up hands…
He struggled and cried out as he watched the silk bot move slowly across the room, pushing his door closed. Slowly ensuring he was hidden from view completely… and shutting off all his office lights.
It was going to be a long night of testing and trying to get out…
