I'm aware that I haven't made a post or a release in several months. Whoops.
I've actually been working on the Linkle story this entire time, whenever I could. I meant to post updates about it, but I fell into the trap where, every time I thought about posting, I figured I was so close to being done that I should just wait and release the story.
But I'm still not done. I'm close. I think all the renders are done, and the last couple weeks I've just been doing image editing, adding text, that sort of thing. I'm going to play around with filters and stuff before I release to see if I can improve the final result, so all told I'm expecting it'll be another week before the whole thing is done.
But I've been thinking that for a month now.
In any case, the full release of this part of the story will be around 110 images. Once it's all done, backers will get the full release, and the public will get a limited release on pixiv with censorship. I'm also thinking about putting the whole series on gumroad or some other avenue to test another way to get income from my work. There will be no 4k renders because I used a high-quality render engine on this part of the story and that massively increases render times.
Once this story is complete, I'm going to make a presentation or portfolio of all the works in progress I have or projects I've been thinking about starting. I'm going to let anyone who likes my work have a say in what I make next, with preference for the people who have given me money, of course.
