I am working on an "in-house solution" right now because we no longer have access to the platform we used before. I am also monitoring legislation that is passing currently regarding the use of AI voices (and people's likenesses in general) as it's generally very hard to prove that the voices used are legit generated by meshing a lot of stuff together.

As it stands now: If voicing had been a big part of why you supported the project in the past, I would advise against supporting the project again.

Long and rather pathetic story short, I nearly croaked. They found something in my abdomen after running me around for a while, telling me I need a psychiatrist first, following the initial accident. I had lost most of my health, this project, my car, my job, had to move back in with my parents. Didn't have access to electronics or the strength to use them for a lot of past year. By the time I somewhat recovered in December, I had to come up with something instead of just coming back with a sob story, so I worked on the only thing that was an option as most people had left and Patreon's refund window is notoriously tight.

Obviously I would've never abandoned a moderately successful project, one we've all had a lot of fun with, of my own volition and have it decay into nothing. If one can't trust my sincerity on that, my self-interest alone should be enough, no?

It's fine. You had none of this information. I would've felt betrayed as well, there's plenty of people who take advantage of people on this platform. Certain game took 2 years to release an update, and half of them are basically just collecting cash from people doing nothing. I'm not going to name names.

Yes, I was planning on sending out the merged 0.22 to all the OG supporters by the end of this month. I would've even allowed public downloads of the prologue, but Patreon has very strict community guidelines about sharing adult content publicly. We even got suspended for private posts which were innocuous at best.

Of course you do. You're free to do with as you please. You can even seed it around, but generally, as a supporter consider that this stuff isn't cheap to make, especially on this level. The electricity bill alone of multiple GPUs running for 12+ hours a day juicing north of 1000 W is not... Great. Especially in the summer when the AC needs to work against it. Let alone assets and everything else while assuming thousands of my work hours are worth $0.

I don't determine the value of the Patreon subscription on the download links whatsoever, but the supporting element, both financial and the collaborative enterprise of steering the ship. Outside of polls you can always talk to me directly about something you'd like to see.

I see myself as a custodian of this project, I try not to make big decisions without consulting everyone involved. So for big things, I will always make a poll.
