Branded To Fall 0.7 Public Release!!
Hey hey!
We're finally here, Branded to Fall 0.7 release, and dang is it a big one! Kind of been a crazy one coming here as the extended release to include more content, and the heavy focus on two characters really made for a very different feeling dev cycle then normal. It's had it's positives and negatives, but I think I might go a little insane doing such a hard focus on the regular. However, I do like being able to push some characters stories forward more to a heavy degree like you'll find here, so I think in the future I'll be less afraid to give some characters a more hefty amount of scenes for an update, but overall I plan on spreading the content love around again starting in 0.8. But I'm getting ahead of myself, talking about 0.8 and future dev stuff, you all want to hear about what's in this one!
As you all know, this was the Jen and Charlotte "omegaupdate" and boy do I hope it lives up to that name! In this update you will find a tonne of new scenes for Jen and Charlotte, with Jen getting 6 new CG's (3 animated) and Charlotte getting 5 (4 animated) and even more new scenes then CG's, as not every scene has a CG with it. Now I'm sure you're thinking, "wait but didn't you say there were 16 new CG's? That's only 11!" However I'm also sure you've seen the banner for this post, so I suppose here's where I state what the banner already gave away, I've added in the most requested content not currently in the game, which is Charlotte and Elora scenes! 5 of them to be precise, of which 4 are animated! I've actually been working on this in the background for quite some time because I wanted to make these scenes (them being the most requested one is a happy coincidence) and wanted to build up a whole lot of art to basically drop a mini route of its own as a fun surprise, but with this being the Charlotte Jen omegaupdate, it was too fitting to add it in here, even if I wanted it to drop as a fully complete smaller route, there is still a whole lot of it there!
Outside of Jen and Charlotte, there's a bit more around the town you can explore. The item shop is finally open (though not fully functional yet as the pricing system actually turned out game breaking as is so I need to balance it a bit more first XD) but you can meet several new side characters there with some fun interactions that will eventually lead to more money making opportunities for both Cam and El. The two new characters I showed sprites for a while back are added here too, Darius and Morgan, and you can interact with both as Cam and El. Finally I have included a continuation of the maid job at the Dukes Manor. It's only one more event and not in the repetitive stage just yet sadly, but it adds a nice bit extra around for a lot of characters involved in the job.
I've also added the ability to hide the text box to get a full look at the CG's should you wish, you can do this by using the right click to hide the text and again to return it to the screen.
Last but not least, with this release you'll find the addition of Charlotte, Jen and the Duke's theme's added into the game! Luz has killed it with these tracks, and while Charlotte and Jen's are currently only present in new scenes, I'll be retroactively adding them to the old ones too in subsequent updates.
One thing I do want to note is a few inconsistencies in some CG's, notably one where El will be sleeping in a single bed rather then a double one. This is because the location this scene takes place in changed from when the initial art was done for it, but I plan to update this in the future also.
Final thought I have, is with the size of this update. The game has skyrocketed in size with the sheer amount of images and animations added for this update, and I'm not happy leaving it to only grow exponentially, so I'll be ensuring that for 0.8 I can find some better compression tools that I can use without sacrificing image quality at all of the scenes.

Branded To Fall 0.5 Public Release!
Hey hey!
It's finally time for Branded 0.5's public release! We've got a good bit of content, but not everything I wanted to made it in to this release. Most notable of these is the Kiba CG scene I teased on new years, due to this being a part of a larger set I want to do. So sadly the cute Cam and Kiba cuddles won't be seen here, but will be in 0.6. In the end I also decided against adding the small, "in between" scenes for Charlotte and Jen, as I didn't like how they worked with how I wanted to progress each of their content as a whole. These were never planned to have CG's with either of said characters though so there is much less lost here.
That said, there is still a juicy amount here. It was especially fun to flesh out more and get to see spicier interactions with characters like Hazel and Alice who haven't had as much limelight. A lot of these scenes also ended up becoming much bigger then I'd originally planned, notably for Seren but especially Hazel, who can end up in three very different states for her and Cam's relationship, entirely altering how she acts, and others treat the two of them.
Anyway I'll shut up before I start spoiling too much as to what's in the update. I'll be addressing a few extra grammar bugs that were reported last release that I didn't get round too as I wanted to focus on the new stuff first, but I'll release an update addressing those and any bugs raised later in the week.
