Just one month left until the next update! 🎉

The past 7 days were a little different from my usual development weeks. Instead of spending most of my time working on NerveFade, I had to deal with some personal things that had been piling up and suddenly needed my attention.

Even with that, development is still on track and within the planned release schedule.

This week, I added 37 new rendered images to the upcoming update and, most importantly, I finally finished the development and setup of the last new environment that will be used in the next update.

So, all the new locations are now ready, and I can fully focus on bringing the remaining scenes to life. There is still plenty of work ahead, but I'm really happy with where things are at right now.

I also made some changes to the subscription tiers and added several new ones. You can check out all the details on my profile.

Because of these changes, the release schedule for paid supporters has also been updated. However, don't worry if you were already supporting me before the tier changes.

Everyone who was already subscribed to any paid tier before these changes will receive the next update as soon as I finish it — on September 5th.

I've also permanently locked in the old $5 price for everyone who was already subscribed to the $5 tier. The tier is now $10, but existing $5 supporters will continue paying $5 instead of $10 for as long as they remain subscribed.

The new tiers also come with some new benefits, so feel free to check them out on my page. And starting this Monday, there will be a new weekly poll for the $10 and $20 tiers, where we'll be choosing outfits and clothes for upcoming updates together!

I'm really excited to start doing these polls and give you guys a little more influence over what happens in future updates. 😄

We're getting closer and closer to the release, and I'm really happy with how everything is coming together.

Something unexpected happened this week.

Right in the middle of development, after the script for the next update was already finished, I came up with an idea for an additional scene. It highlights Mary's personality and shows how much she cares about the MC... just in a very unconventional way. Pretty much what you'd expect from her 😄

Adding this scene wasn't as simple as dropping it into the script. I spent the last 7 days reworking parts of the story, adjusting the dialogue, updating the render plan, and rewriting some of the content I'd already finished to make everything flow naturally.

Even though most of my time went into that, I still managed to add 55 new rendered images, write around 500 lines of code (mostly dialogue), and, of course, finish this brand-new scene.

The best part is that it adds around 15 extra minutes of gameplay to the next update which is planned to be released in just 5 weeks! And I think it was absolutely worth the extra work.

I'm really glad I decided to go for it. I think this scene adds even more memorable moments with our favorite Mary, and I'm excited to hear what you think once you get to play it.

Hey frens!

This week was all about rendering, building new environments, and making small improvements to the story and dialogue.

Over the past 7 days, I've added 54 new rendered images and 2 new environments that will appear in Episode 2.

As for the environments, I've started giving them a richer and more vibrant look by improving the lighting, increasing the color depth, and using warmer, more natural tones. I'm really happy with how they're turning out. This Wednesday, in Weekly Sneak Peek #3, I'll be sharing one of these new renders, so you'll be able to see the difference for yourselves.

Right now, I'm really happy with the direction development is taking - prioritizing quality over speed, and I think that's the right approach for NerveFade.

Supporter release: September 5, 2026
Public release: November 7, 2026 (On the same day Supporters will receive Episode 2 - Part 2.)
