Star Knightess Aura Release 0.49.0
New release! This month's release mostly focuses on closing out the remaining dungeons. For this we have significant progress in two major areas: The Final Dungeon (Richard's Domain) and Clockwork Forest.
As usual, for the details, you can check out the weekly devlog posts. In this post I will summarize the month's work and go into closer detail on what's new this week.
To start off, let's look at the usual summary in Numbers! We have: 5 new dungeon areas, 1 new H-CG, 1 new character artwork, new items, new skills, and big bunch of minor improvements towards the 1.0 release.
Let's start off with this month's main goal: The completion of the dungeon crawling segment of the Final Dungeon! This month I added the last three demon general floors for Gluttony, Lust and Pride. This week in particular, I worked on adding the Pride dungeon, the main work here being that you can kill the final Demon General - Lucifer - at any point in the story, interrupting his Judgement of Pride quest. In theory, all states should update correctly, but to be honest, there are so many states, it's likely I overlooked one x_X
Anyways, as I said, besides the Pride dungeon, we also added the prior two dungeons. Asmodeus had also caused me some headache - in fact the most! To the point where we had to disable the option of using SK to enter Richard's Domain early before getting the Humilitas Rune.
On the bright side: Having fully handled Asmodeus' state allowed me to have one more need on the necessity of closing down the Maid Academy after his death. And while that still happens, I managed to update the state so that the player can still access the Catacombs and fight the local bossess afterwards. So a bit less restrictions on the order of killing bosses such as the Spirit Fox!
Besides the Final Dungeon, our assistant developer Trihan and me continued to also push another front: Clockwork Forest. The Western Clockwork Forest and the Hidden Cave have been iterated quite a bit, both in visual details as well as in content such as new loot! Obtain a new artifact and the new "blueprint" object that unlocks new stuff in Verdeaux's Magic Workshop.
While I was busy iterating existing content, Trihan focused his work on adding two new areas in Clockwork Forest: The first two floors of the Artficer's Tower. He tried to break the pattern of delivering his stuff last minute, but sadly was not so super sucessful at it :'D So once again, I obtained the second floor only late today. It has some very basic testing but F1 and F2 definitely will need an additionally iteration pass. That being said, only 2 more floors to go and the final side quest area will be complete as well!
And then, as mentioned, a bunch of smaller improvements towards 1.0. Some notable items here are:
This week a added a new variation of the Labyrinth of Happiness for a late-game corruption state. Instead of with the Cheerleaders, Aura will end up at Richard's.
The Liliana 2 scene received its H-CG.
Georgia has become a real girl with fitting artwork in the corruption ending!
We finished adding the last couple of remaining skills & opportunites to learn them.
Minor plot improvements such as receiving a warning about the time limit on Demon Generals recovering their strength and the consequences of death on Earth in the Intro.
I feel like I'm typing the changelog here so I will stop the list :'D
Okay, so in summary: Final Dungeon crawling DONE, next up some narrrative segments and then the Final Battle followed by the Epilogue in January. And for Clockwork Forest two more levels remain and then we can write off one more milestone: All quests done.
But that is hopefully for next month. As for a more detailed plan, stay tuned for either Sunday or Monday where I will post the December Project Plan. Until then!

Star Knightess Aura Internal Release 0.44.0

Big tiddy month comes to an end! Like last month, my quest to continue pushing towards the Corruption ending has progressed quite a bit over this month. One last batch of work next month and then we are off to the Corruption ending in the month after it!
But before we get ahead of ourselves for the future, let's take a look at the present of the progress of this month. As usual, for the details I refer to the detailed weekly devlog posts and will instead only look at a summary of what is new this month.
Starting with the numerical review! We have: 11 new Corruption Scenes, 5 new Lewd Scenes, 2 new Mental Changes, 4 new passives, 5 CG variations, and tons of other things like progress on the Demon-crazy quest, new pixel art assets and many other little things!
The first important batch of changes is on Earth / the mental change. Two new Identity Questions can now be answered to trigger a bunch of new scenes and gain new passives. Among the new scenes, the probably most dominant sequence is the continued competition between Rose and Aura over Richard. A bunch of lewd scenes deal with these events where to gain Richard's attention the two girls compete by bringing George towards the brink of despair.
On the lewd department, we have a new threesome with Rose, Aura and Richard, a group sex scene involving Elizabeth, Laura and their boys, as well as another threesome but with Aura, Richard and Alicia - her lack of appearance in lewd scenes finally being broken!
Visually, we also have a bunch of new art assets! Although no new base CGs we have a lot of variations of other CGs this month. The slutty bikini outfit from last month is now represented in the Richard sex scenes. Lewd Streaming 7 is now illustrated with CG variations of the George lewd events - except with George replaced by Richard and Aura's character design updated to the current corruption level. And then we also have the upgrade of Rose's chest area who has undergone breast enhancement surgery to raise her chances to win back Richard.
I will also show the detailed results of the current poll next Monday, but it looks like Tan variations is winning which is why I went ahead on Wednesday and discussed them with our artist Emubi. I was hoping I could already start adding them today and wrote the mental change and scene for it, but there were some issues in the organization of the assets, making them not work with all the costumes. It's not a big issue, but big enough to postpone the addition of the tan mental change to next update.
Finally, besides new corruption scenes we also have a bunch of minor visual improvements. It's always a bit strange to see certain assets cycled after staying with us for so long but such is the cycle of life. The discprepancy in the pixel art chars and their 2D portraits always bugged me and for Laura, Rose and Aura this has now been finally resolved. What's more, the Library Club always felt a little bit too stylish for some girls. Thanks to our pixel artist Amysaurus, our Library Club now fully looks the part!
And what's more, their appearance now also progress. Starting with the scene where Aura blackmails everyone to "take better care of themselves" the Library Club members will start dying their hair and in the second stage also swap out their clothes (doing an opposite order from Aura for some changeup). Well, mos of them progress, except for one girl for whom I decided to leave the appearance the same as she is the side character who receives the most bullying (after Laura) so I figured her not visually progressing to be related.
On the Royaside we have two points of progression. One is the Lady Charlotte event chain which contains one new lewd event that is very, very long x_X and gets Charlotte into bed. Her chest development can also be progressed to the last stage - hence combined with Rose's breast enhancement story Big Tiddy Month ;D
The second point is the progress on the side of our assistant developer Trihan who has continued to implement the Demon-crazy quest which last month only had a very basic stub to get it started. Recruit members to infiltrate the cult and engineer the election so Liliana can guide it to a better future --- or sell out the girls and turn them into agents of the chauvinist Shadow.
Before closing out, there are two one balance changes I would like to highlight. For one, that the Underground Pub Job no longer gives Lewdness. You still gain Lewdness from Customer Service and Uniform Upgrades as usual but the job itself no longer does so. It's a bit problematic, because it was the generic way to increase Aura's Lewdness to 15 in case it was lagging behind and the player couldn't find any lewd events. But I believe at the current stage of the game, that benefit is no longer as important. O
On the other hand, ino longer giving Lewdness also means no longer giving Corruption. I always found that the job gave too much corruption for too little reward but increasing the reward wasn't really an option as it would muddle its identity compared to the Brothel Job. So yeah, you can no longer raise your Lewdness up with the job, but you can now also work it on higher lewd levels without worrying about Soul-Break. I believe investing a day end into the job for its smaller rewards instead of, say, learning a skill or investing into an enhancement, is already enough payment.
The second balancing change affects the Knowledge Room. Here the process of pumping out Knoweldge no longer requires 2 actions. Since the first pump action never triggered an event, I didn't find it too interesting. So with the goal of shortening the journey to Chapter 3 just a little bit, I decided to cut it out. Note that if you are currently in the pumping process and need to smash the Orb, it will happen automatically if you interact with it without giving you an option. This way backward compatibility with this state is preserved.
Aaaaand that's it for the month! There are various other small changes you can read up in the Changelog if you are interested. For example, some coming from this week's polishing work. Especially in all scenes involving a TV and the Interestes Room containing one, you can see now some funny little animations. And that's about it. Have fun with the update, let's hope we won't need a hotfix and otherwise see you until Monday for the next month's Project Plan.
EDIT: Android and Google are fucking garbage and I hate them. I'm doing a fixed version build. Nothing should change. I shouldn't have my build broken because of some deprecated libraries. Android build wasn't deployed when I first made this post. Updated the dependencies and retriggered the deploy job so the android build should be there BUT WHO KNOWS IF THERE ARE ANY CONSEQUENCES TO UPGRADING THE DEPENDENCIES.

Star Knightess Aura Internal Release 0.41.0
Aaaand that marks the end of lewd month! With this update we are finally in a good spot in all the Roya content, only missing one more scene in the Underground and the Charlotte content. Other remaining lewd content is all in the Earth corruption scenes.
What this means exactly, let's take a look in the short summary in numbers for this month! We have 2 new H-CGs, 2 new mental changes,10 new lewd scene (2 of them Corruption Scenes), 3 Corruption scenes, 1 new quest, 1 new area, and a bunch of new items and skills!
As usual, in the following I will give an overview over these new changes. For more detailed updates, check out the devlog posts.
Let's start with the lewd content! Lord Trademond, the final piece of the maid storyline was added this month. Get the last item you need from him in order to enter Richard's Domain without having to use the collar --- for a hefty price of course! Or... work as a maid and see the fruits of Aura's maid trainings with two major scene variations between high and low obedience.
The other Roya area with lewd content is the Brothel which had its last customers added in this update. Meet an old business partner on Arwin who takes full advantage of finding the killer of his business source in a brothel, and re-meet Francois who has two majorly different reactions to finding Aura in the brothel.
And then it's back into the real world. There we have only a few new corruption scenes this week where we revisit the progress of Rose's corruption as well as the cumulation event of Aura becoming less and less capable of dealing with her lust without going to Richard.
Finally, we also have a bunch of new H-CGs. The Maid Academy is now fully completed with the Paulina Training scenes having recieved their CG set and on Earth, the Cheerleading Game 3 scene has now been illustrated. Oh right, and the Masturbating At Home scene also received some minor variations.
hen, let's stick a bit around in Roya and look at the non-lewd content we have there. There are two major contributions to report on. For one, our assistant developer Trihan has implemented a new Intermediate Adenturer Quest Poison Swamps with the full set of a new dungeon, a boss monster with custom mechanics, a Vice choice, and useful rewards, especially if you listen to Desmond's proposal...
The second major addition, are a bunch of new skills and items. Rank III Martials and Spells, new items at the workshop, companions learning and being able to teach Rank II skills and so on. I won't be giving a detailed list here and instead just reference the changelog or devlog posts.
What I have been working on this week, is something I usually don't report on too much in the update posts. About half a year ago, we started to generalize, refactor, and extract the base functionaliy of SKA into a separate project in order to make it easier to start new projects in the future that share or use a set of the SKA features. E.g. menu overhaul, bestiary, NG+, etc.
The result of this week's work (which was supposed to only be a couple days and then the rest vacation time, but I needed pretty much the entire week to finish it... :'D) is the release of the 1.0.0 version of the AuraMZ Template Game, containing a bunch of the features developed for SKA and setup in a template project.
It's free to use for non-commercial and commercial projects, only the UI assets requiring to buy a license for commercial purposes. Not very relevant for the players here but hopefully interesting to other developers. I hope the refactorings didn't break anything... :'D
Aaaand that's it for the update! Yesterday I discussed the next H-CG with our artist Emubi, which will be the Lord Trademond H-CG so we can completely close out this event line next month. Next month, I will be transitioning into the development of Chapter 3-B which means our focus will return next month at the Earth Corruption scenes and stay there until we reach the Corruption Ending!

Star Knightess Aura Internal Release 0.36.0
Aaaand now you can properly continue playing after finishing the reverse summoning ritual. :'D Most of this week was spent on cleaning up after the reverse summoning ritual and also adding a couple of things to better prepare for it. Aside from that a ton of bugfixes, but honestly, I feel like this one here will definitely need a hotfix or two. Since we have so many fixes, I wouldn't be surprised if there are more bugs that were hidden behind everything we fixed. But welp, making a lot of progress also means making a bunch of bugs, I guess. :'D
Anyways, so the main progress this month was finishing up the Reverse Summoning Ritual. So there isn't really much of the usual number summary to do here, but besides the Ritual we did also see some new art content this month in the form of the Elizabeth character artwork and the Roland 6 H-CG I integrated this week. For the usual details, I refer as usual to the devlog posts. Usually, I would also give a summary here but in this case it's just too many spoilers, so I will just report a bit more on a couple of this week's new changes and leave it at that.
Besides the Royan world state, I have also done some updating in the compendium. As you progress through Chapter 2, more of the relationship status tags will be updated until reaching the point of the above screenshot. I also updated Aura's personal page where you will now find her ? marks for her new hobbies disappearing and also new ones popping up.
In Verdeaux, the Artifact Workshop has finally received some new items that become unlocked as you increase their workshop level through selling of Star Metal. However, there is one major change here: Artifacts no longer automatically appear in the shop, you first have to craft them via materials. Especially Pyromantium and Ether that are aplenty in the world should find some more potential uses in these. As for the new Artifacts, we have one that acts as basically another level of Coating Proficiency (Coating Enhancer), an artifact that allows you to have a major AGI advantage during the first turns of battle, and with that also hopefully has some synergy with Assassinate (Reaction Booster), and finally you can further upgrade your bombs to ignore even more MDEF by upgrading the Bomb Enhancer artifact.
Then we also have two new items at the Alchemist that you unlock at Workshop Levels 7 and 8 respectively. Slime Armor Coating gives you PHYS resistance but WEAKNESS to all other elements and should provide an additional way to counter PHYS heavy attacks without needing to learn Defensive Stance. Liquifiy Weapon Coating main effect is that it gives you WATER element attacks, giving you an additional way to deal with PHYS resisting enemies using melee attacks besides Lightning Sword. It also gives players an additional way to deal with the enemies in Mount Firestorm without needing the spell Splash. They both require some investemnt in terms of materials/gold making them bad permanent solutions, so learning the skills should become obsolete. But on the other hand it should give an additional tactical option that can be helpful in some segments of the game.
Alright, so I will leave it at that for this post. Regarding the actual content of this update, as I said, not much point to report on it due to the spoilery nature, so I will just leave it to the players to explore. Regarding the next chapter, after the next project plan post, either in the same week or the week after that, I will be giving another update post on the main roadmap. In general, next month will most likely be a setup month, doing some concept work, setting up new locations, setting up the next mind rooms, etc. Then, I will probably post again tomorrow for the 99% probably necessary hotfix. :'D
