Mistaken Identity Part 1

It seems the universe, or fate, was planning a new life for a young man by the name of Kelly even before the events of our story would begin, It started off with the world entering the era of working from home during the pandemic that rocked the system of office workers. Of course no force in the world besides mother nature could create such a change in the world, but the happenstance of it all opened the door for other forces to effect the more malleable of people in the world, and one of those is Kelly.

The early morning rush to get ready for work was long gone, and Kelly couldn’t be happier with the how things had changed, he was saving buckets of money not driving to work, he was more relaxed and honestly, he was feeling healthier as he was using his gained time to work out to improve his manly form. Manly form to anyone who was looking at Kelly would be a generous take, standing around 5 foot 7 inches, and weighing about 130 pounds, Kelly would be better described as twig than a strong man. He, of course, didn't see it that way and would get annoyed if others dismissed his manly prowess. 

Kelly strolled over to his work desk that he had set up in his living room of the moderately sized apartment he owns. He stretched and turned on his computer as everything booted up. Kelly gathered his morning coffee and sat down for the start of his day, first thing on the docket, responding to emails. It had become a ritual for him, his boss wanted daily updates, others needed confirmations, and so on, the boring life of corporate office work. Honestly the work was easy and Kelly enjoyed it for the most part. As Kelly reached the end of his normal new emails he noticed one addressed to him from someone he didn’t recognise. Not that it was strange to get a new person emailing him, he worked as a faceless peon in the world of corporate america. Kelly noticed that the email was addressed to him, but the subject was “RE: Checking In” which was weird as he didn’t remember ever getting the original email, opening it, the email read;

Sender: [email protected]

Subject: RE: Checking In

“Kelly, sweetie, I hope you are still doing well! I can’t wait to see you again, I know that we haven’t seen each other for a whole week but just one more and I’ll be back in town. Just to tide you over, I sent you some gifts!! I know you’re going to love them, princess. <3 <3 <3”

Kelly honestly didn’t know who this Sarah person was, and was more a bit annoyed at the fact that they thought he was some kind of cutesy girly girl. As Kelly stared at the email, something in him felt the need to be a bit playful and try to see where things would go. Afterall, Kelly was suddenly feeling very sure in his masculinity and playing the part of a girly girl would be a challenge that only the manliest man could do. With a sureness he didn’t have before, Kelly decided to reply.

“OHMAIGOSH, you didn’t have to get me stuff. I am doing so well, but I miss you so much! I can’t wait to see you too.”

Kelly had seen a few television shows with girly girls in them and was trying desperately to emulate them in the reply. It was a little easier than he thought but of course Kelly was naturally good at faking being a girly girl, he was a man and men were good at everything. Before he could log out, he noticed another reply from Sarah.

Sender: [email protected]

Subject: RE: Checking In

“Well, I know I didn’t have to be a silly girl, I just couldn’t help myself when I saw them. I can’t help but imagine your face when you open the boxes. You are going to love them my sweet doll. <3 <3 <3”

Kelly smiled as he read the email, this Sarah or whoever totally bought the reply and really did seem to believe that he was her girlfriend. Kelly was pretty impressed, even if it was in just an email, he had just succeeded in convincing this person that he was not only her girly girlfriend but more importantly that Kelly was a lesbian. Kelly knew that no man was man enough to have ever accomplished that feat before and he knew he was even manlier because of it. Truth be told, Kelly didn’t know anyone at all named Sarah, and for a moment after he read the email, he thought he should ask Sarah how she came across his email, but decided to play along anyway.

As the day went on, Sarah sent Kelly videos of her saying encouraging things to keep Kelly going throughout the day. Kelly, of course, listened to the videos and was encouraged by the sweet sounding voice of Sarah. After each video, Kelly noticed that he was much more productive and happy. As the day came to an end, Sarah sent Kelly one last video and in it she started talking about all the things they would do together, Kelly nearly fell out of his seat with how kinky the plans were that Sarah had. He couldn’t help but blush and be thankful that no one was around. As the video came to an end, Kelly’s doorbell rang.
