Hey everyone,

Just wanted to drop a quick update about where things are at with the next build of My Boss’ Wife.

Originally, I had the entire script for this update written out last year. But after sitting on it for so long (and growing a lot as a writer in the process), I decided to go back and make a few improvements. Nothing major — but definitely things that will make the story stronger.

- Adding extra dialogue to make scenes feel more natural and connected
- And one extra ending I decided to add because it fits the direction the story is heading
- All of this minor writing work will be finished by the end of this week.

Starting Monday next week, I’ll be jumping straight into creating all the CGs for this build.

Before that, at the end of this week, I’m going to sit down and count out every CG and animation needed for this update. This is something I should’ve done earlier, but I want to stay much more organized moving forward so there are:

- fewer last-minute changes
- clearer milestones
- and more frequent, accurate progress updates for all of you

Keeping track of this stuff in advance helps me deliver builds faster and keep everyone in the loop.

It’s been a long time coming — like, a full year since the last update — but v0.2 is finally out!

Before jumping into what’s new, I want to address the elephant in the room.
This update took way longer than I ever planned. Between family matters and work life, I let too much time slip by without proper communication. That’s on me. I don’t want to make excuses — I just want to do better moving forward. I spent a lot of time refining the animations and tiny details that make the experience feel more alive, and honestly, that’s what slowed me down.

As for the update, the story continues — Your temptation deepens as Yumi grows closer to you, pushing the boundaries of right and wrong. You can now freely move around the Aikawa residence, searching for clues and uncovering secrets about what’s really going on behind closed doors. 4 new gallery scenes, including one with a larger, more detailed animation and sound effects for extra immersion. There will be a lot of unfinished portions of the game because lack of time but they will be updated in the future

I’ve already started planning ahead to make sure updates don’t take this long again. My main focus moving forward is better communication and even smaller, more frequent releases so everyone can enjoy steady progress instead of long gaps.
