Hey everybody!
First of all, I'd like to thank every new member that joined within the past few days. Glad to have you on board. Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions or just want to talk about the game and it's future. And also a big thank you to all my besties, masters and FWBs who are still on board. You gorgeous bunch keep me motivated and make me work on the game with a smile on my face. Love ya!
Alright, let's get this thing going, shall we?! Gonna release my very first content update for 'Summer In The City' today... well, right now in fact, which is really exciting. With the help of some Friends With Benefits who got access to the early release, I've been working hard the past few days to get the update in shape. Here's the changelog for v0.21 (from v0.13):
- New scenes, decisions and dialogue
- New music tracks
- Added opacity slider
- Added links to social media in game's menus
- Added a gallery (not final, may still change in design and content)
- Clicking directly on the smartphone should now advance the dialogue
It's not the most massive update but I'm confident you will be pleased considering its rather short development time. Future updates will most likely take a bit longer, but nothing unreasonable should be expected. I will post weekly updates on the development process as well as a more detailed devlog for 'Friends With Benefits', presumably every weekend unless there's something extra ordinarily going on I want to share.
I'm currently working on a German translation but it will take some time. If anyone is interested in helping with translations to any other languages on a voluntary basis (for now), feel free to message me either here or on our Discord channel. Can't actually believe how much dialogue I've already written., phew. I will reserve the next couple of days for bugfixing as well as ironing out other issues that may come to light. I will start to fully work on update #2 from Monday on.
I'm also working on some, let's call it promo material for the lack of a better term. I will share some of it on our Discord every now and then and would love to hear your opinion or suggestions. If some of you are skilled in photoshop, drawing or any other forms of digital art creation, you're more than welcome to share some of your ideas or even creations. Every bit of exposure is helping the game.
