here we go again. As per usual, a patched version will see the light of day. There isn't a lot to talk about with this one, so if you're happy with your current version, it's not really necessary to download it, unless you really want to take a look at the new replay gallery with currently 21 scenes available. The image gallery has also been slightly improved. I'm still working on both, mainly on improving the design. I've also added a link to SitC's Steam store page in the main menu screen for easy wishlisting. You will find all the other changes in the changelog below.
Speaking of Steam: If you haven't wishlisted 'Summer In The City' yet, I would be extraordinarily grateful if you could consider it. I hope all of you had a fun festive season and transitioned properly into the new year. First day back at work, currently creating a scene with everybody's darling... Bob! If that isn't a proper start into the new year, I don't know what is. 🐴🍆
Alrighty then, I just wanted to share some plans and ideas I have for 2025. I'm determined to make your support worthwhile. In the first part, I will lay out a little roadmap about what is most certainly going to happen throughout 2025 regarding "Summer In The City". In the second part, I'd like to share some ideas I have and would love to hear your opinions and suggestions.
Assembling my new PC - I've ordered all components by now, the last one should arrive around January 10th. I will dedicate a full day for building, setting up and testing. I will come back to this in the "ideas" section and why it's important.
Release of v0.70 - Aiming for mid/end of January.
Release of v0.80 - Aiming for March.
Release of v0.90 - Aiming for May.
The big one: v1.0 Steam Release - Aiming for June/July. Not gonna lie, I'm a bit scared of this one, but mostly excited as hell.
Beginning work on Season Two - I might take a week or two off after the Steam release, mostly focusing on bug fixing and recharching my mental batteries. And then I will jump right into working on Summer's next adventures with improved render quality and finally some proper animations. I will go into more detail in future posts, dedicated to Season Two.
Season Two: v0.10 release - Aiming for August/September.
Season Two: v0.20 release - Aiming for November/December.
It's gonna be one hell of a year! I'm really looking forward to working on the next season with my new rig. Not having to make any compromises anymore when setting up a 3D scene is such an immense increase in convenience, not to mention the increase in speed and overall quality. I'm gonna love it and, even more so, hope you will too!
Translations - I will try to find affordable translators. I can't promise anything, since my budget is still very tight (especially after buying the components for the new rig). But I'm determined to have at least a Spanish and French translation going for the Steam release. If anyone is in contact with reliable translators (no machine-learning translations), feel free to send me a DM.

Redux version of Season One - I've already mentioned this before, but I'm planning to re-do some scenes with the new PC as soon as it's ready to roll. The dialogue and story will remain untouched, or slightly improved if necessary. I'm focusing mostly on improving some lighting and scene setups, poses and expressions. I am going to show you exactly what I have in mind before I go ahead with the plan.
The custom renders offer for "Shitballs" and "Shitballs Deluxe" may change in case of too many members joining these tiers. I will have to come up with something else then. But it's rather unlikely this will happen anytime soon anyway, so grab 'em while you can. Please wait until my new PC is ready before requesting a custom render.
I wish I could offer you more exciting benefits, but a day only has 24 hours unfortunately. This is all I can do without compromising the actual development time too much as a solo dev. Just want to show how grateful I am for every bit of support.
Speaking of support. "Summer In The City" will also be part of some exciting bundles throughout the year.
