it's time again to join Summer's journey in the big city. "Summer In The City" update 0.82 is now available for free exclusively for all members of my Patreon and SubscribeStar pages. You will find the download links down below. I am currently uploading to some additional file hosting sites and will update the links as soon as the uploads are finished.

Summer In The City 1.0 Release Delayed

Hi everyone,

I unfortunately had to make the difficult decision to delay the release of Summer In The City for another few days for all tiers. I'm very close to becoming burned out. The last one and a half weeks were some of the most emotionally draining days I've ever experienced despite of all your amazing support.

Instead of enjoying my long awaited and absolutely necessary vacation, I'm still working overtime, trying to keep things afloat. I feel like everything I've worked for non-stop these past two years is unjustly falling apart thanks to the new situation we find ourselves in. I'm under a lot of pressure keeping my new dream career you all made possible a reality. It's really hard to communicate all this to others without going deeper into one's personal circumstances, which I prefer not to do for privacy reasons. I will just have to ask you for a little bit more patience and your understanding.

Besides all this, I also need a tiny bit more time for testing and polishing. The game is 100% finished when it comes to narrative and renders. I'm currently struggling with getting the multi-persistence code to work (it's necessary for transferring save files/variables from Season One to Season Two). It's not even a difficult task per se, but it just doesn't work as I intend it to. I've also extended a few scenes this past week which could use a bit more refinement. This is not a big deal though and can be done within a day or two.

I think the best course of action right now would be to not giving out specific release dates again. I'm worried I won't be able to keep 'em besides new deadlines putting me under even more pressure. I will of course let you all know immediately when I'm ready to upload the game, hopefully this upcoming week. The rollout will remain the same. First Shitballs Deluxe -> Shitballs -> Friends With Benefits -> Master Of Shenanigans -> Besties. All with two days in between.

I'm going to leave a final batch of previews for you as an apology offering 😉I promise to deliver, as always. Just with a few hiccups here and there every once in a while.

Beauty and the Thug

The game offers a host of choices and an abundance of content. The latest version, 0.4.1a, includes over 26,750 images and 3,190 animations!

The protagonist, Lisa, is an intelligent and gorgeous redhead.

At its heart, “Beauty and the Thug” is a poignant romance. Lisa has two primary romantic options – one male, one female.

Besides that, Lisa could befriend (or “befriend”) many other characters and have a lot of fun with them.

Lisa spends time between main and side stories exploring her sexuality. She dives into various kinks and fetishes, experimenting with her body and mind.

The game features 13 fetishes (with an additional 6 to be added later) that Lisa can explore, each on a scale from 0% to 100%. Thus, you’re likely to find a fetish that tickles your fancy.

Hi everyone,

what a weekend, eh?!

After having experienced one of the worst moments of my life and the most difficult situation for the project, you really came through for me and Summer. The words to express my feelings have never been uttered before nor have they even been invented yet. Your support and love left me speechless and filled me with joy rarely experienced before. Okay, okay... I'll stop being so cheesy. But I mean it, I truly do! I could go on for hours like this, but I'll spare you for now. Just know that I'll be eternally grateful for having the honor to be part of such an amazing community. Hmm... I can't stop, can I?

Alright, time to look forward and leave the past behind. I'm still a bit shook with everything that happened, but I'm already back to picking up the pieces and working on the final stretches of Season One. Besides finishing this season, I will also have to revise some plans I've made prior to this whole ordeal due to the sudden loss of the expected income I would have made on Steam. This hurts quite a lot because it restricts me from realizing some of the visions I had for the continuation of Summer In The City as well as cool things I had planned for the post release period. Let's rather say I'll put them into hiatus for the time being until I'm able to generate a steady income again. Let's hope the censoring situation will get better before it gets worse.

Let's also hope GOG will become Summer's new home base besides Patreon, SubscribeStar and itch. This would most certainly alleviate the worst parts of the situation. I'd like to quickly thank everyone who voted and especially those who left a story. I've read and I will keep reading every single one. I even teared up the other day after reading them. Now, let's get to the new launch dates. Since Steam is off the table now, I thought rolling out the full game in the classic tiered release format would be the best course of action. It might be able to bring in new supporters which are sorely needed right now, and it gives me more time to polish things for the very final release version. I still have to get rid of some Steam specific code as well as adding stuff back in I had to remove besides other smaller fixes and taking care of things caused by the Steam fallout. So here are my plans for the rollout:

Shitballs: September 7th
Friends With Benefits: September 9th
Masters Of Shenanigans: September 11th
Besties & itch.io: September 13th

I hope this works for you all considering the circumstances.
