Public Update - Gladiator King V0.17 Draft
Hey dear followers and players, I’m Tale Master Zian, and I wanted to share something heartfelt with you today. 🌙
I know the second update of Gladiator King came a little later than expected. That’s because we poured a lot of time and care into it — from designing new styles and refining the gameplay flow, to strengthening the story structure.
We spent countless hours debating: ✨ How to handle the more intimate scenes, 🎨 Where to best use the Live2D animations, 🧠 Which parts should be AI-generated and which should shine through with hand-drawn art.
All of this was done with one goal in mind — to make the story and storytelling even more powerful.
This update still isn’t fully complete. Future fix patches will smooth out rough edges and expand unfinished storylines. 🛠️
Now, a bit of personal news — I’ll be taking a short hiatus (around 1–1.5 months) as I begin my mandatory military service. ⚔️ It’ll last about a year, but after the first month and a half, I should regain access to my computer. And when that happens, I’ll jump right back into development — continuing updates and crafting more of Gladiator King. 💪

Gladiator King - V0.1
I’m excited to present to you my game, Gladiator King, which has been on my mind for a long time and that I started developing a few weeks ago. Since my drawing skills aren’t perfect, I was wondering how I could create my own content… and then I thought… I’ll draw what I can, and let AI handle the rest.
And here I am, combining my own sketches with AI enhancements. Some parts aren’t perfect yet—I’ve only just started working with AI and drawing. Since I don’t really like the traditional AI style, I tried to create something more illustrative, something I could call my own style.

Update! Tale of Legend 0 - v0.1 - (Act 0.6)
Hey Everyone!
I was originally planning to do monthly updates, but due to some issues, I couldn't keep up. However, from now on, updates will come more smoothly and quickly!
So, what's new in this update?
Revamped & Improved UI Design – The old UI looked a bit too amateurish. I hope you like the new design!
Reduced File Size with Slightly Lower Quality – Since I was using PNG format, most images were around 3-5 MB. Now, I’ve converted them to WebP, significantly reducing their sizes. This should make downloads much smoother. The only downside is a slight decrease in quality—hope you don’t mind!
Resource Gathering – You can now search your surroundings and gather materials from resource pools.
Vendor Code & Design – I've implemented the vendor system with a much more practical and user-friendly design. Hope you like it!
Code Optimization – A lot of my old code wasn’t great, so I rewrote it from scratch and structured everything more systematically.
Inventory System and Items – Now there is a bunch of gatherable items in locations. Some of them consumable. but for equipments the equipment screen still work in progress.
Quest 4 Beginning, 2 New NPCs & Work Options – You can now talk to Altan the Lumberjack and Kate the Merchant to earn some money and improve your stats.
I haven't progressed much in the main story, but after this update, I'll quickly wrap up Act 0 and move on to the real content.

Update! - Tale of The Legend Act 0 - (v0.5)
Hello Dears,
I know I haven't released an update in 4 months and I haven't posted a daily update in 2 months.
I changed a lot of things in the original game.
Now all locations are animated. You don't need to click 2 times for interactions anymore. I made a lot of changes both in terms of gameplay and comfort. And i implemented Gladis card game. It is still work in progress but i hope you will like it.
For those who are impatiently waiting for Act 1 Act 0 is exactly half finished as planned.
