It is time to shed some light on the next update's development!

So, in the last update you had to campaign for the "Club 2.0" and my aim is to make it a reality in this one. Besides adding a new activity system to the club, I'm kinda overhauling how the hostess skills and skill gains work. I've swapped some skills for new ones, increased the skill caps and if I have the time, I'll even add some perks you can choose when the girls reach certain levels.

Besides the club revamp, I've been working on Olivia's storyline! I don't want to spoil anything, but she's been neglected for a while, but now it's time for her to shine. It's hard to say anything without spoiling stuff, but let's just say I hope you guys are cool with light puzzle solving. Tbh, this has also highlighted how horrible the figure I chose for her is - I'm not sure why this specific figure keeps clipping through clothes, but wow, it's really going all out.

Also, Hermione won the deflowering event vote with a slight landslide, so she's been receiving some tender love and care in the hotel by the MC and a lucky gentleman. Instead of using the same lingerie I gave Jennifer, I figured each girl should get some sexy deflowering wear that matches their body and the, uh, action planned for them. 

Serena remembers you've helped her and it's time to pay her debts. Just like in a lot of scenes in the game, the variety of smut here will depend on whether you're a sub or a dom. If you can't tell, the screenshot comes from the sub route. Besides these scenes listed here, I'm adding new club scenes, updating at least some scenes in café, gloryholes and the beach. And if there is more time, I will keep on adding more smut for your enjoyment.

Well, that's a hard one. I honestly can't say. The club update is making my brain hurt sometimes as I try to keep all the data in my head at the same time to make sure it works as planned, and it will need quite a bit of testing so it won't break for all of you. Also, not all events have been rendered and I haven't done post-processing for the ready renders yet (seems like the introduction of AI hasn't reduced my day job's demands, quite the opposite; more work faster!). After like a million delays, the new update is ready(ish)!

I think I was already a bit rusty on gauging how long it takes to finish up an update. As ever, life's been chaotic with us moving to a new house and doing a ton of renovations, which have been eating up my time. Also, my wife pointed out that the dog we bought two years ago probably also takes up about 1-2 hours of my days, so...it's not as big of a mystery anymore why the pace has been slow. But until spring comes, our renovations are done for now, and I'll make sure to dedicate more time to Club Detention to implement and flesh out the new club features.

If you already looked at the download links, you might've noticed the new feature: animations!

Now, these are AI generated animations, so some might consider it slop (I understand if you do). Hence they are not included in the main build of the game, but you can download them separately. Mind you, the quality of the animations varies quite a bit within the update - when I started, I had no idea what I was doing, but my current workflow for the animations is tons better than what I started with.

As for content, there is a new main story event that has you engage with the main staff. More with some than the others, but the ones with some actual new render contents are Jacob, Serena, Shirley and Nanako.

Also, the first girl received their defloration scenes: Jennifer!

I ended up postponing the new club lesson revamp I told you guys about. As I was testing it, I wasn't feeling it, and I got new ideas on how to improve it, so it's going to be a feature for the next update. It kinda makes more sense there as well, since the next update will feature the fruits of your labor you will be undergoing in this update's content.

That being said, when looking back at the content, it feels a bit...small. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of new renders and new videos, but I had hoped to give you guys a meatier update.

The hostess club's generic events will be replaced by a lesson system, where you can train the girls in different skills, and set how they should act in certain situations. I wish I had thought of this sooner, since it makes a lot more sense and would provide interesting branching to the existing scenes, but I'm not sure if I'll get back to them (creating new renders for them with the same color palette is hard, since I'm not sure which post-processing stack I used for which old work).

Also, Lauren's new content was delayed until the next update since I ran into some technical limitations on the event I had planned for her. I will either figure out how to do it or come up with something else for her.

Naturally one of the girls will also receive their deflowering events. And I'll add more renders for the old scenes that are missing renders. There's quite a lot of backlog with those, but luckily I can just set my computer to rendering those while I do other work.
