A bit about prologue.

Hey guys.

I'll get right to the point.

The prologue for this game is going to be kinetic.

I am writing this part of the game as I am rendering everything for the Gingerly tangled. And no matter what I try It only makes sense to have it as kinetic. The prologue sets everything up for the rest of the game. The world state, who are the main characters, how they are connected and what their relationships might be, before the game starts.

The big thing for a lot of people, in AVN space, is who has sex with whom and being able to refuse sex. In the prologue all sex is canonical, but you will have a choice to skip a scene.

And now I come to the part that will piss a whole lot of you off.

I would sugest not skipping those scenes. Because some of them will have exposition about characters.

However, at no point will you be cheating on anyone. Those scenes will happen before you enter into relationship with Yana and Julie. And when you do enter into relationship with them, the two of them will have an understanding and knoweldge that there are women who want the same with you and have been in your life a whole lot longer than they are.

The three of you will have a discussion as to how this will work out. The three choices will be:

1. You stay completely faithful to them. (The throuple route)
2. They would be happy if there were more women in the "family." (The harem)
3. They remain your only loves, but they are fine if you have occasional sex with two other characters. (The throuple, plus side women.)

By the end of the prologue you will be in the throuple route and have established where your relationship will go.

Of course, all of this is still quite far away from happening. I am very far from finishing writing the prologue, which has to be long enough for me to set everything up properly. There is also the case of how I am going to render this thing. I've been gathering and building sets for this game and my current hardware is just not good enough for this. Gingerly tangled, despite some difficulties, is a "cake walk" in comparison to this game. When it comes to what I need to render it.

Anyway. It's all still some time in the future. Who knows, prices for GPUs might drop like a Peregrine falcon who saw a tasty bunny ass before I get going on this in full.

Celestial's curse.

The game is still in a very early stage of development and there are things about the romantic side of the game that might change. There might be more LIs than what I am planning on right now, but only one or two. I am not aiming to have a whole town's worth of women in the harem. Just a couple more that I am not sure about at the moment. The game will be a long one and will take many years to get to the "Completed" tag.

The game is not about having sex every time your character blinks.

Music may or may not be in the game.

Please keep in mind that this game does not follow many of the fantasy genre conventions. It is its own world, with its own mythology. For example, Vampires are not afraid of the sunlight and do not sleep in coffins. The elves are not some pretentious, arrogant, "superiors" to humans.

The World.

The game takes place in a Universe that is, mostly, contemporary to ours in its development. There is magic and there are, or were, Gods. There are many races of sentient beings who live in this world, and others. And, for the most part, they get along. Mostly, because it was not all that long ago that the world came close to being destroyed by the War of the Gods. The war that brought an end to the Gods themselves. Since then many races banded together to rebuild their lives. But the losses of that war were staggering and there are races that no longer exist. At least, not on this planet.

Story.

This is not a story about saving the world from some great evil. It's a story about you. About a brief, relatively speaking, part of your life. But this part of your life is perhaps the most impactful one in your millions of years of existence. That's right, you have been here for millions of years. Although, it could have been billions. When you live that long you kind of stop counting at about 100 million. What's the point, right? There will be many stories within this story. Some of them will connect. Whether by pure coincidence or as the result of the conclusion of the one before.

The story that sets off this new part of your life is one that is probably the most important to you. The one closest to your heart. Your Familiar has been kidnapped. You know who did it. But things went sideways. Not even the kidnapper knows where your Familiar is now. The only two people who can help you find your Familiar are Yana and Julie. The two best private detectives this side of the oceans.

Romantic paths.

There will be only two: Throuple and Harem. You will start the game being single. You will have an option to have sex with some of the characters right from the prologue. But those acts will not bind you into a relationship. Casual sex with one of those characters is a normal thing that happens between the two of you. It's canon as the two of you have been in a relationship before. The two of you ended the relationship, but do enjoy each other's company from time to time. You will be warned when the romantic choice will lead into a relationship. The throuple route is polyamorous. The other LIs might enjoy each other's company, but it will be only when they are also having sex with you. There is no choice regarding being on that route, and the prologue will end with you starting a relationship with Yana and Julie. By the end of the prologue you will be aware and get to know two more LIs. The choice to date them will not happen until Part 1, where you will also get to know another LI. I have yet to decide on how the harem route will work. Sexual and romantic relations between LIs might change as I write the story. The only relationship that is canon and will not change is between Yana and Julie.

Kinks.

All the usual stuff, for now. We'll see where it goes.

You will not find out everything about the characters or the world right away. Things will unravel as the story goes on. There will be a lot of reading. Occasionally interrupted by some "fun time". So, sit tight, smile wide and enjoy the ride.

At a later date I will give a more detailed description of the world and its history. That might help you get into the story better. I have written most of the lore for it already, but some details still need work. Please be patient with this, there might be a whole lot to think of. But if you do have questions about some specific things about the world, please, do ask. Might help me flesh it out. Who knows, we might create a world deep enough to set off a series of games within the same world space.
