Mitsuki Kae
Roy's childhood friend and first love. In death she is haunting and guiding him, her soul the binding between the two different powers now keeping him alive. In life, she was a glorious, stoic yet playful, duty bound yet fiery, warrior princess torn between her first and only love and her duty to her people. Strong and delicate wrapped in one... she ultimately chose her people but various ruinous powers that instilled or cultivated greed and betrayal amongst the populace eventually led to her death at the hands of the man she was arranged to marry. She got her revenge and the dark powers plaguing her lands where cast out... but it was to late.
It is yet to be seen if Mitsi will eventually return to the Wheel of Life to eventually be reborn or rest eternal... or Roy will find a way to restore her to the person she was.
This one of the many entries in a series of Dungeons and Dragons inspired original characters from the Caravan, a now closed/on indefinite hiatus role play group. But there was a lot of good times had and a lot of friends made. So as I work through all the various colorful characters and members, I will occasionally pay homage or tribute to the ones who have fallen along the way. They were all amazing and will be missed.
