Moving on with what I have before buying naughty AddOns after the big DAZ news on 21st... Return to Monkey Island is coming out tomorrow, anyway, and I'll be "away" for that :D

The first raunchy render I think is good enough to share with you.

I was planning to shop for AddOns this weekend and work on more but now with the "Huge announcement" coming in a few days I'll hold off on buying and wait what exactly changes...

NSFW content. Sorry, I'm going to get to it... I'll also be straightening out any issues with text, animation etc. that show up along the way.

Versions for Linux, MacOS and Android. To be honest, I won't be able to test versions for non-Win OSes any time soon. My Mac is too old now, my dedicated Linux box is no more and I do not own any Android devices. I'll continue to provide non-tested versions, compiled with the settings that worked good some time ago, so be sure to shoot me a message if there's serious issues. Getting some mid-tier Android tablet will likely be my next step here.

Yes, and now the journey to sexy DAZ renders begins in earnest. That road might be bumpy and long but I'll post the more ... interesting steps here ;)

I for one am excited to finally get to the juicy parts!

While learning more about DAZ I decided to re-do the actors assets that were already in before I did a bunch more.

I switched to using HDRI for lighting and I like the renders much better now. Also rendered more poses to cover the basics, I'll switch them around a bit more later to make the actors more lively.

Before I do that I'll go through the scripts to find the more exceptional poses, like cheering, and pose and render those.

You'll see one or two more releases with new assets before I get to the more .. involved .. renders.

Why did this release take so long? I found me a new workplace and position which takes effort in job training.

Once that's done it'll fit much better with my current life plan which includes having regular time for working on this project.

Plus, I got myself a regular grant from a private sponsor that's taking care of the small technical bills and buying some assets every now and then!

Getting nice results with DAZ took me some time. Learned a bunch about lighting, posing, facial expressions, rendering and all the necessary details of the system.

Now it's on to posing and rendering all actors stances during dialogue for the story to be more lively and after the next preview release I'll dig into creating the raunchy bits of the case ;)
