Hello again! This past week, I wrapped up the writing for v18 and jumped straight into rendering! The render count is currently sitting at just over 150. I’ve also been experimenting more with animations, right now I’m planning for four, but with multiple angles for each, it’ll end up closer to 6–8 animation files in total. All of these will be in the Alex scene. Depending on your choices during the v17 scene with her, the Dom path will start to diverge a bit. Long story short: in v18, her scene will have three fully unique variants! Two of the three are already done, and I’m aiming to finish the final path this weekend.
In other news, today marks the game’s one-year anniversary since the v1 launch! Damn… it really doesn’t feel like it’s been that long. I’m more than satisfied with how far we’ve come. Though I guess this game will take longer to complete than I first thought. It feels like we’ve barely scratched the surface of everything I have planned, but honestly, I don’t mind. After all, it’s about the journey, not the destination… even if that can be a little frustrating at times. So I’ll say it now: I love making this game more than anything, and my only hope is that it continues to be something worth keeping your eye on.

Hello again, and Happy Halloween!!! 🎃 This past week, v16 had its public release! I’ve also continued work on v17, with the render count now sitting around 400. Most of what’s left is the Alex scene, and I’m aiming for a final total of 500–550 renders.
Since both scenes in this update have two versions, I highly recommend playing through both paths if you enjoy both types of content as the scenes are completely different depending on your path. I also ended up doing an extra animation, though it’s just an alternate angle I made while experimenting… which means Madeline now has 4 of the now 18 animations in the game. Oops... I’ll try to balance that out in future updates...
If you weren’t aware, this update is dropping next week, following a three-week release cycle instead of the now usual four. Which I have mixed feels about. I wouldn’t have minded having another week to round things out a bit more. But the constant push for more renders in the same time frame is starting to catch up, so the next few updates will return to four-week releases. The goal is to get ahead enough to return focus on the growing pile of improvements I’ve wanted to make. That was the original plan for the extended schedule anyway… but I kept making the updates bigger and bigger. No regrets, just time to reap what I’ve sown!
That said, I’ll likely be working on v17 right up until release, and I’m looking forward to getting it into your hands! I’ve really enjoyed being back to working with Alex, so much so that I’d say the monkey’s paw has curled, and those who wished for the end of the Nakamura reign will get their wish. In its place rises… the era of muscle girls! Bwahahaha! Ahem. Was that a scare worthy of Halloween?
On a more serious note, here’s what’s ahead:
v18 will likely feature another Alex scene and a smaller starter scene with Sophia.
The update after that will have a full Sophia scene, and somewhere down the line, a scene featuring both Alex and Maddie.

Hello again! This week, v16 had its early release! It ended up with a total of 716 renders plus an animation, making it the biggest update yet in terms of render count. Work on v17 is already underway, the writing is complete, and the render count has already passed 100! I considered hoodwinking you and making v17 about Naomi and Lin, but I didn’t so I deserve praise, right?

Hello again! This week I’ve continued work on v16. The render count has climbed past 650, and I even managed to fit in the animation I was hoping to include! There are still about 30–50 renders left to finish, but I’m aiming to have v16 fully complete this weekend and ready for it’s early release on the 16th.
