🚀Version 0.7 Release🚀
Hello, dear subscribers!
I apologize for the delay in releasing version 0.7. It took longer because I was developing the combat mechanics, which required more time than expected, but it’s finally ready!
This version (0.7) doesn’t advance the storylines much, but I’ve focused on refining the core characters. Now, it’s much easier to navigate and understand where and how to complete tasks, plus I’ve added a scene archive (currently for 5 characters), where you can review past events.
Another new feature you might enjoy is the Achievement system, which I’ll be expanding in the future to add more variety to the game. Your choices will determine which achievements you unlock. For example, there's currently an achievement for Lilith that requires two specific choices in her storyline, impacting future events. I plan to create more such branches for other characters, though this requires a lot of work due to the game’s non-linear, sandbox nature, so I hope for your understanding!
To avoid long absences, I’ll start releasing updated versions almost every week.
What this means: next Wednesday, I’ll release an HD version, along with updates to certain storylines. I may also release another small update before the main 0.8 release, which will help keep the game relevant and avoid long breaks. The average release cycle will be around two weeks, or up to three if necessary. I hope this more dynamic approach will allow me to better track my progress and get your feedback in near real-time!
Here’s a list of key changes in this version:
1. Combat system developed. You now have unique stats, such as health, attack strength, and perks, while your opponent will have hidden moves. All of this is accompanied by active “battle scenes,” which I hope will be engaging.
2. Scene Archive, where you can find and replay scenes you've completed.
3. New character card interface is in progress, with early access to the Achievements system.
4. New storylines in development, where your choices will impact character endings.
For now, this is showcased with Lilith.
5. Scene navigation has been revamped to replace scrollable lists with videos that transition into each other. I’d love to know which system you prefer, as I plan to add an option for either scroll lists or transitioning scenes in the future.
6. New locations added: Park, Second-Level Beds, Student Lounge, Sports Section, College Director's Office.
7. Most bugs have been fixed, with minor updates in design, item interactions, and other small details.
