Pony Waifu Sim Update - Early April

Happy April Fools everyone! Though we don't have any good gags this year, we'd love to give you our next progress update!

Scion has just returned from BABSCon 2024, so if you're reading this because you received a business card, welcome!

There's still quite a bit of work to do on these final animations to get them to the level of quality in the Purple Smart finale, but all the stills, backgrounds, closeups, and dialogue are done and we are actively working on implementing them. There are also some minigames we are working on implementing.

We have also been continuing to prepare for Mare Fair in September, our presence there is going to be huge, so mark your calendars! Here is a small sample of some of the buttons we wish to sell.

This update brings with it the ability to repair your broken window. Ponies will also give various comments on the state of the window.

In addition, this update adds some new songs from BGM around the town!

Finally, we have added official support for the Portuguese language thanks to our volunteer translators!

We are still hard at work getting all the animations finished and high quality for the final Blue Fast update. tiara should be able to help us out with the animations again soon, as well.

It's about time you got that window fixed! Just hope that it doesn't get broken again...

Greetings, everyone!

Aside from preparing for Mare Fair (WE LOVE THEM), the last month has been busy with work on the art & animations for the Blue Fast update. tiara has been dealing with some personal trouble recently, but SlimeWiz has been helping to fill in the gap. We want these animations to be the perfect conclusion to Blue Fast's route!

We have also been working on a minor flavor update that we plan to release this month. This update will add more music from BGM around the town, as well as add the ability to get your window repaired by Applesack!

We are currently planning on having a booth where we will be selling plushies, lewd prints, branded StudioWhy apparel, and more!

We also plan on holding a panel talking about the rise of StudioWhy, how we operate, and the unique challenges we have faced as an adult game developer.

Greetings, everyone! We hope you had a wonderful November!

This month we have just released Patch 5.4.2 which fixes a recurring crash issue on Android and other lower-end devices. Hopefully this greatly improves the experience on mobile!

We also plan to release the memory replaying update by the end of December, so stay tuned for that!

Art & animations for the next Blue Fast update is still underway, and we should hopefully be able to release that update soon after this memory replaying one!
