Today is the day! I’m proud to bring you the Chapter 4 release.

I’ve already told quite a bit about this version in my previous post:

                “…that Chapter is both my favorite while being the harder to work on. As opposite to the previous versions, the story you’ll have to get through is mostly straightforward. I’ve made that choice because the flow of C4 events matters a lot. I want you to embark on a feel’s rollercoaster here and, for that, I require all your attention.

Along the 8 events, you will navigate between several seas. Passing by some spooky stuff, from lighthearted comedy, to drama, and, of course, stopping by the vast NSFW land, you’ll embark on a journey that, I hope, will inspire some of your dreams.

I won’t go deeper into story details here, as I don’t want to spoil the goods. However, keep in mind that, Chapter 4 concludes the first part of Dreamland Wanderer story. It’s also a good opportunity for me to introduce the VN routes. So, I can only advise you to keep a warm save at the beginning of current content somewhere…”

Today is also the second anniversary of DW. I’ve prepared a special render for us to celebrate!

Last but not least, for those of you who have asked me about how to support: Looking at my release schedule being slow, I don’t want to go back to a monthly supporter’s billing. The thing is: Patreon can’t modify my page settings to make a switch to “Pay per release” system and, until I stop putting the billing on hold, no new subscribers can join… So, I had no other choices but to recreate another Patreon page…

So, I did, and I also tried to recreate the whole history of posts here for you to feel at home. New URL should be the same as the old one (https://www.patreon.com/dreamlandwanderer).  It may not be approuved by the Patreon team at the moment I post this message but it should be running within hours (or at least I hope so...). Former page could still be accessed here if needed (https://www.patreon.com/dreamlandwandererold). 

As I said before, the whole plan was to switch to a “Pay per release” billing. That means that you shouldn’t have to pay for anything until I release a new major version of DW. Of course, I’ll let all the subscribers know beforehand to let you cancel your pledge if that’s what you want. In short, no monthly and no surprise billings to fear.  

For current subscribers: I’ll suspend my former Patreon page in a month or so. If you wish to keep offering support, feel free to move onto the new page. About those of you with limited tiers (The Origin, First Wanderer, Team Founder, Old Monarch), please get in touch with me on Discord beforehand so I’ll open said tiers temporarily for you to subscribe.

Hello there,

Today mark the 1st anniversary of Dreamland Wanderer! One… Full… Year since the first release. I’m having a hard time realizing it. I remember the Discord server opening as it was yesterday, I was alone at first and we’re now more than 300… Time flies (except if you’re lucky enough to be a time controller, of course) …
This year has been marked by 52 public posts, countless hours to render the 2665 scenes, sleepless nights and 4 releases (no, I won’t count the multiple fixes needed to counterbalance my brain lags…). From Chapter 1 to the end of Chapter 3, we Awakened, met 6 beautiful girls, witnessed the creation of the Re-Members and achieved our first objective! Speaking of objectives, I’ve counted a grand total of 364 pairs of boobies visible (yes, I counted manually, yes, it took me way too long, and yes, it was totally worthwhile).
Whether you’re a Patreon or SuscribeStar supporter, Discord member, Itch follower or player, you’re part of that journey and I hope we’ll continue walking side by side for a long time. I still have a lot of things I want to tell in my story.

Let’s stop being sentimental and switch to the main subject! To access the special event, just click on "Cain's Quest" button at the bottom left of main screen. That update was also the opportunity for me to switch from RenPy 7 to RenPy 8, let me know if you encounter any issue.

One week has passed and it’s finally time to release the second part of Dreamland Wanderer Chapter 3 for everyone! Feedback from supporters has been great and it’s now your turn to discover what’s in store for the next adventures of our favorites Wanderers!

Do the Re-members succeeded in beating their strong enemy? What could possibly lie within the Archives? What’s Lulu’s ability? How is MC’s daily life going on so far? There is still a lot of unanswered questions and, you might find some answers within this new content.

The time has come... As promised, today is the pre-release of Dreamland Wanderer Chapter 3 – Part 2 for Wanderer supporters and above! It’s been several long months since the last version and it’s a very happy day for me! As usual, I’ve put all my might in that new content so I hope it’ll be the case for you too.
