Good news and bad news.
The bad news is that the Weekly art is going to be delayed again. Not sure by how much, possibly a day or two. However, it will not set the overall projected schedule for September back, partly for reasons related to the good news.
Which iiiiiis.... that the lines for the current animation are finished! Look at that. I spent a fair bit of time this week crunching this. As far as excuses go for lacking in the Weekly art department, I feel that's a pretty good one.
So, after finishing the delayed Weekly art in the next day or so [don't wanna rush it!], the next scheduled posting day is Tuesday 22nd. And there will be no animation update for that week. Instead, I'll be hosting a poll to decide whether I continue this project [color, sound, extra details, etc] or start something else animation-wise. The poll will open sometime tomorrow and close Tuesday 22nd [and of course be subscriber-only. ain't that just the way].

Animation Update: Li-Ming's Arcane Orb (#4)

We're about at the halfway point with this animation project, at least in terms of the lineart. Still gotta fill in all those inbetween frames to give it that smooth feel. I want to give this one the full animation treatment, and then potentially think about simplifying and shortcuts for future projects. It all depends on whether or not infrequency of completion feels like an issue, and whether or not the labour feels sustainable.
Still, I'd say that this is more than at a point where people might be able to, uh, make use of it. So I release it into the wild.
