Hope everyone had a good Halloween! Work has been progressing well on my end. I've been chugging away at renders whenever I've had the time. I'm making slow but steady progress.
I've been given an opportunity to make some extra money, and doing so would allow me to purchase a better graphics card (The one I have is good for gaming but for Daz it's not great).My graphics card card only has 8GB of Vram and Daz eats that for a snack. If I'm working on a scene that has 2 or more characters I often have to split the scene into multiple renders due to maxing out my Vram I then have to combine them in photoshop. This can create a ton of additional work for myself as well as additional render time for my machine. The new graphics card would not only be quite a bit faster but has 3x the Vram
I think its an opportunity I can't refuse. After this update we are going to be getting into more and more scenes that have 2+ people. The football scenes in particular will have a bunch of characters. So I'm going to pull the trigger on that opportunity. Unfortunately while I'm doing that work I'll have a bit less free time to work on the current update for GOI. I hate to delay the update but, I think in the long run the game will be better off for it. I'm hoping to have all of the side work done within a couple of weeks at max. I wont be stopping work on GOI all together during that time but the time I have available to work on it will be a bit less. If anyone has any questions or concerns please feel free to speak up!
