Dev Update #186


I've lost a lot of time this week, trying to make an animation.
The base idea was simple enough and I've been told about a couple of tools that could considerably ease the work...
I'm not sure why I even tried. I knew I wouldn't be able to produce something satisfying. It was obvious that it would be a complete waste of time. The results weren't simply unsatisfying, they were properly terrifying.
I really want to learn and try to do animations, but it's so time-consuming and painful that I can't realistically integrate it into my dev process. I'll have to hog some of my free time to get better at it. If it's even a possibility. I think I'm growing jealous of other games that offer that kind of content.
Anyway, I progressed. Not as much as I wanted but still. There are 37 shots left to pose for scene 21. Next week will be dedicated to finishing this and coding the three scenes of the main branch. I'll then move on to the Moronic Hero path.

The quick sum up :
  • Day 6 Part 2 will contain 8 scenes (Scenes 19 to 26).
  • Scenes 19 to 21 are written, and scenes 19 and 20 are posed and rendered.
  • 21599 words so far.
  • 680 renders are planned, 643 shots are posed and 591 are rendered.
  • I'm working on posing and rendering scene 21.
