Dev Update #169

That week has been pretty rough.
I'm sick. I've been unable to work for a full day. I'm getting better but I can't say I'm 100% efficient at the moment. I still have pains and moments of fever and it can be pretty difficult to focus at times.
Anyway, I progressed a bit.
I'm obviously still working on posing scene 19. I slightly reworked some parts of the scene to be able to reuse renders across multiple paths, at least in the "introduction" part. As a consequence, the number of planned renders has decreased a bit. I'll see if I can do that again later on the scene at the next variance point, but it will probably be more difficult.
I also started rendering. The first thirty renders are done and so far, I'm happy with the results.

I couldn't work as much as I wanted and feel pretty guilty about the wasted time. The sequence I posed was pretty easy and I could have been done with it days ago if I hadn't been sick. I know there's nothing I can do about it, but still.
The quick sum up :
- Day 6 Part 2 will contain 8 scenes (Scenes 19 to 26).
- Scene 19 is written. 11 339 words so far.
- 66 shots are posed, 30 are rendered, 284 more are planned.
- I'm working on posing scene 19.

I know you are right. But it doesn't make it easier. I contemplate the time I've lost and I can't help but think I could have done more.
I agree with Pax - and if you feel you have to do _something_, at least focus on the things that you are most motivated to do.
The tough stuff, however necessary, can wait.
Get well soon!
I'm already feeling better. But I'll keep this advice for the next time I'm sick.
