Andromeda 0.5 Briefing 2
Hello again everyone, it's time for another briefing. Before we talk about the new content I want to provide one last update regarding the remastering of the older content.
This section should have started with me saying that the remaster of Chapter 3 (v0.3) has been completed, but right before I started typing this out on 8/20/22 I realized that I missed one scene because I had put it in the wrong folder when I organized my DAZ scene saves. So yeah, oops. Finally I am going to halt progress on the remaster for this update once I do this last scene for Chapter 3, now completed as of finishing up this briefing. The reason is that the first three updates are the ones that really needed the remastering. I still plane to touch up Chapters 4 and 4.5, but those will wait until I begin working on Chapter 6 (v0.6) sometime early next year. Instead, by the time I post this briefing, I am currently working on the scenes for Chapter 5 that I have already finished writing out.
Here are a few of the images of that remaster of Chapter 3.

Now for the new stuff. Not a whole lot say right now. Progress on the script is going slightly slower that I would like, I've been a little busy with personal life on top of summer events for some of the games I regularly play, so I haven't really had as much time to work on the script. Those events though should be ending within the next week or so. After that the biggest potential interference will be a potential upcoming new job and me needing to adjust my schedule for that.
But as for the new content itself. As of writing this briefing I have around 250 lines of code and I expect this update to be at least as long as the last update (~1400 lines of code), though likely longer, but it's a little too early to tell right now by how much. Like I mentioned in the last briefing this update is focused on getting to know the some of the main crew, at least on a basic level. My plan is that once we leave Terran space (occurring with the next update) we will start having more interaction with the crew, both as part of work and outside of work.
