Happy Birthday Naomi! And other things...
Shamefully I must admit I've been so caught up in working on things I almost forgot until last night.
Thankfully a true bro JunkLewdKing posted some WIP fan art for the occasion and inadvertently reminded me! DX Be sure to give them a follow for having more awareness of these things than I the one who set this date does.
My excuse is I didn't grow up with birthdays as a thing :P.
But also I've been losing track of time this month in general, hell I didn't even make the monthly post yet! It's been a mess I tell ya.
Thankfully another bro, Arbuz also came through with some extra art! So the occasion isn't a complete bust. Just mostly T_T
Originally, I wanted a build release for the occasion, but there's just too much to do still. Sorry.

You're late! What's new?
Yeah, last month wasn't great progress wise, I took my PC in to get a hard drive and motherboard replacement and that about took up half the month (The mobo was overheating for some reason, turned out to be a faulty reading). So I was stuck on my laptop, and got some work done but slower than I would like.
Main work completed was a rework of the "VN Style Dialogue" with the aim of supported at least two characters. There's been a change where additional characters will be 3D instead of 2D for more consistency. We'll talk about that more when the time comes, I know I still haven't really shown designs or given profiles and that's cause I'm not 100% happy yet. I'll show them before the models are finished that's for sure.
Other work was mostly related to creating tools for the writer to help implement scenes.
Another major improvement was character instancing. In short because of the way cinematics work, using the same instance of Naomi across scenes is a problem. So instead the game will have an instance of Naomi (and other characters) per scene. These new instances will configure themselves to look like the old instance. From now you'll start seeing new scenes be implemented both for dialogue and other things!
This month
But while these updates are important, they're relatively small, but I think it was just enough for me to feel comfortable on multiple fronts. So much so I'm now panicking about assets!
And that's been all of this month so far. New assets, I hired an animator, and I'm doing a fuck ton of prep work for new content. This is for cinematics, sex sim, loops, outfits and more. It's all critical stuff.
There's a major poll coming soon where you'll be able to vote on what new content (that's not critical to story) gets created sooner! There's basically going to be multiple huge polls with an accompanying gallery of 20+ images per poll (Or maybe one insanely huge one I dunno). It's a lot of work, I aim to get it done with month cause the main reason for doing it is to make it easy to commission animations (If you're a blender animator feel free to contact me).
Other things like story boards are also in progress.
And the content isn't just for Naomi, new assets for male avatar are coming too! But they need refinement...
