Season 2 will start at a somewhat calmer point in Ashe's life after having dealt with some crazy stuff in the last couple episodes. She's slowly coming to accept that her secret is out now. While she still feels uncomfortable about it, it seems that most of her friends have her back and that the damage done is manageable after all.
Ms. X seems to have disappeared, and as predicted, the viral storm of the leaked party video has passed for the most part. Ashe's search for a new job proves difficult, which means she likely can't be picky once she finds something. Moira Cadwell's campaign for mayor is in full swing, which will also bring a light to what kind of person her opponent is.
Then there's the mysterious Kendra who is back in town, leaving Ashe curious to what led to her falling out with Evelyn. And of course, Ashe's own past is still haunting her both in her sleeping and waking moments.
