It's Thursday, so let's get updated!

First off, the early-access links for Stories from the Island and the first two stories are now available for those of you at Mid-Carder level! The links are in the post below this one... hope you enjoy!

As for progress on the next MotR release, I've finished up with the in-ring segment I was working on, including all the post-production stuff. I'm currently working on the first of two short backstage segments that will take place before the final match.

I don't have much more to say, though I can tell you that I spend just around two hours yesterday searching for a song to use as Keahi's solo entrance music. I had some song that seemed decent, but either the lyrics were off for her or the beat wasn't quite right... nothing was fitting her quite the way I wanted.

I knew I had to have a driving beat, lyrics that were in some way sexual, and most importantly, would get across in some way that she should be hated. I searched youtube for quite a while with no real luck, then started going through the old music folders on my computer. I came close to the pulling the trigger on a couple of Genitorturers songs, but kept looking just in case I could find something better.

And then I did. Driving beat. Sexual lyrics. Makes people hate the person coming out to it...

Nickelback. Perfect.

I'll admit that her entrance animation doesn't match up to the song in any meaningful way, but somehow that makes it even better.
