August 2026 devlog
Heyya folks, time for another devlog
It has been an eventful month since the last devlog, I came down with the flu and that just meant that I had some free time to do stuff. I was sick for a good two weeks but I’m the type of fkr who can still function even with a 39c fever, just don’t tell my boss xD
I worked on a bunch of different stuff that I needed to work on, coding, designing new stuff, testing out different music, sound effects and most importantly fixing renders. Sometimes there’s poke through and various different glitches which some of can be easily fixed with photoshop but some unfortunately need re rendering. So yeeeeeahhh I stopped rendering a few times to fix things, and static render count since the last devlog took a bit of a hit because of it.
Since the last devlog my Pc was able to render out only 172 static renders, which means that there's around 3363 total static renders in this update so far. These I also post processed and I coded them into the game as well. Static renders were the only thing that took a hit, I rendered out probably the same amount of animation frames that I did last month and of course there’s still more to go but I can see a small Tinie-tiny light at the end of the tunnel now.
Since I got more than a few questions about when the update is dropping, I’m gonna say it again I don’t give any estimates no more because I was always wrong and I could never predict a release date. Please don't listen to anyone's prediction on forums or on reddit, if me the developer of it can't predict it, then sure as sh some random dude can't either.
Once the update is finished and the new version Is bug free and ready to be played, I will post the changelog and the release dates everywhere.
I have also noticed that my Pc mostly restarts while I’m loading a scene, not always but that’s what caused it most of the time especially while I was doing post work in photoshop at the same time. So, basically when it’s under heavy use. If anyone has any suggestion of what might cause this or how I can test this better to find which part is causing the restarts I’m open for suggestions.
As for me I recovered from the flu I don’t need to take medication anymore so I can drink beer again and all is good in the world again. Mentally I’m doing great a bit stressed out as usual because the update is taking way longer than it should have but it is what it is. . . Still 4000+ static renders and 100+ animations is not bad for a smol dev who does this as a hobby. So at least there’s that to make me feel better while I cry myself to sleep xD
Anyway, that’s it for this month’s devlog, thanks for reading! Here are some new screenshots!

Wait, you have a job?
I don't mean this sarcastically, just suprised, since I thought doing such a game consumes all of your time. but cool, happy to hear that you're (mostly) over the flu.
Yeah I work Monday to Friday and have the weekends free. Making this game consumes most of my time but not all of it :P Thanks
thank God I discovered this game like a month ago because the wait would've sucked. I immediately loved the game. it has great characters and story. a big bonus it had me laughing my ass off.
Happy to hear you loved it! Any favorite characters so far?
Donnie is definitely up there for being hilarious and a bro to MC. It's rare for AVNs to have bromances like that. you have a great cast of characters and most of them being friends from childhood gives more meaning than strangers dancing around each other for who knows how long. muffin cakes is my favorite female character she's adorable.
i wanted to ask how in depth are you getting with multiple branches because you being an army of one it can turn into a long dev cycle?
There's a lot of branching but its not as scary as it currently seems like, not all of them are "linear branches / paths" some paths intertwine some run parallel like the current chapter 2 stuff. You'll understand more when chapter 3-4 is out. As for the long dev cycle this is a temporary thing, mostly because the lack of resources, currently one PC does all the work but that's not going to be the case when more people subscribe and I can afford more PC's, so I can simultaneously render and make new renders or animations while the other one is rendering.
