Update 11 August 2026

I realize I don't post news or info about my whereabouts as often as I should, but keeping up with... well, my life, tends to get in the way. So, my latest update is that I'm currently in Ohio in a half built out van with 3 cats and taking on several odd jobs from friends and family to make some extra cash. I just finished assisting a friend sell crafts and souvenirs at the Ohio State Fair and I chose to take a break and skip going to the Indiana State Fair with them, but later this month I will be assisting them again at the Minnesota State Fair, so that's a good chunk of change in my pocket.

Until the next fair begins on August 27th, I plan to make my way leisurely up to the Twin Cities and stop at a few of the random places I've flagged on my to-do list over the years. Mostly parks, scenic overlooks, and free tourist traps. (I'm gonna go add a layer to the World's Largest Ball of Paint!)

Today was one of my first leisure days. I went and saw 4 different historical sites before stopping for the night at a Walmart south of Cincinnati, mainly because I had to turn away from a tornado area. My van felt like it was gonna get blown off the highway. Once I parked, it immediately stopped raining, which allowed me to calmly use their bathroom, get some food, and then climb into bed and do that meerkat taurs comm that's been sitting in my queue.

I'm hoping every day from now on will be like this one. Do some work in the morning, then a couple free tourist stops in a general direction, then stopping at a free park up to chill and do some more work and make some extra art for you lot. And now that I've got this fair thing down, I'm planning on taking off earlier than before so I can do more art in the evenings, but I'm not promising the next fair won't be just as hectic as Ohio was.

On the health side of things, my latest batch of seizure meds has done it's job perfectly and my heart seems to have settled down since my surgery as well. My only current issue is that apparently my joints disapprove of Ohio's 850+ foot elevation compared to Houston's 80, and I can't figure out how to get the inflammation down.

Either way, I have no plans for a third fair at the moment, so then it'll just be... travel. Wherever. I guess I'm... free.

Expect some streams in the coming days on whatever days I feel up to trying that out in my new home, and, as always...

Thanks for waiting,
I love you,
Godot
