[Master Performance]
|Epic Skill|
You have mastered the art of putting on a performance. You can play any instrument well enough to impress the world, your voice when singing is nothing short of captivating. You can sway entire crowds, put on performances that make crowds weep or cheer, you know how to capture and sway crowds instinctively. Without a doubt, you would be hailed as one of the greatest artists and idols of all time.

I sat there looking at the rewards while resting. The clones sat in groups while the droids that remained under my command kept an eye on them while they were served rations of some fruits and vegetables, which some had decided to eat despite their brothers judging them for it.

When they all realized it wasn’t poison and tasted good, most of the others joined them in eating. The three commanders were taken to secure cells on some ships currently grounded on the planet. Anakin was still unconscious while Obi-Wan and Ahsoka were shackled with force-suppression cuffs. They zapped anyone trying to use the Force and kept them in check, but I highly doubted they would be enough to keep them contained for a prolonged amount of time.

Not that I was going to let that happen. Already I was putting Sun Breathing to use, and Thunder Breathing could be used by one of the others if they couldn’t use the former, and my body, already capable of absurd physical feats, now felt like I could take on the galaxy one-handed and win. Not that I would be so arrogant or foolish to attempt such a thing.

For as powerful as I had become, I still didn’t know if I was capable of going against Sidious or Yoda if he got manipulated into fighting me, which I wouldn’t doubt. Manipulating things in the background to combat them, I could do, a head-on fight was something I was less sure about. So for now I would continue disrupting Sidious’ plans and ensuring they fall apart.

With the knowledge on music, I could now introduce some of my favorite songs to this galaxy. I always wanted to learn how to play the guitar, and now I can. With the defeat of the ground forces and what was left of the clones held in reserve, which wasn’t much, they surrendered when Obi-Wan spoke into their communications and ordered a full surrender.

I made sure the Magnaguards and especially Pitou kept her En up while observing the majority in case it was a false surrender. To my relief, it wasn’t. We lost a lot of droids, but we still had even more left over. If the tactical droid that took a speeder bike to the face had been in charge, they would have easily lost this planet.

While the clones were kept under heavy watch while being pushed into whatever the Separatists could find as a means to hold them, Ahsoka, Anakin, and Obi-Wan were kept on a ship separated from each other and the clones.

Maul's armor walked near me with Solution walking up with a warm smile when she looked at me. “With this done, we will return to Tatooine after a few more planets need to be dealt with.”

“… He is on the ship, isn’t he?” Maul said to me, yet the suit was looking off in the direction of the ship holding our three VIPs.

A slow nod. “He is, Maul, hear me out.” The suit slowly turned toward me. “I understand what it is like to lose everything. I know what you are going through more than you can imagine.” I said, trying to get him to let go of not only his grudge but also to get the programming Sidious had done to him out of him.

That’s something I remembered when a friend and I discussed when they brought him back how Maul wasn’t going after all the Jedi like he wanted to in The Phantom Menace. He just wanted Obi-Wan, the Jedi he killed were meant to get Obi-Wan to come to him but were not what he fully desired.

Maul was fixated on Kenobi and was going off of what he remembered from his lessons, if you could even call them that, from Palpatine. Guy was a joke when it came to teaching his apprentices. Powerful he may be, but when it came to wise decisions that were good ideas in the long term, he left a lot to be desired.

I get why he did it. Past Sith Empires suffered from that one thing nearly all Sith were prey to-- treachery and betrayal. He had tried to avert that only to create an empire full of mouth-breathing morons without a single brain cell to share between any of them beyond a select few like Thrawn. And even then the more intelligent ones weren’t entirely in charge of more of the Empire than they should have been.

It would have averted a lot of problems, even if they got ambitious, such a large empire wouldn’t have gone away overnight when you have intelligent people in charge that had enough sense and restraint to not destroy it all even if they wanted to rule it for themselves.

He was silent as I continued. “I fear if you continue to pursue this grudge against Obi-Wan, you will simply fall into a vicious cycle. If you are to reach your full potential, you have to focus on other things. I want you to prosper. But that won’t happen if you go after him.”

“… He is on that ship. He is vulnerable right now,” He said quietly. It was devoid of any anger or hate, of any emotion at all.

It was rather eerie when he wasn’t frothing at the mouth in rage. It was kind of creeping me out, but I hid it and masked it while trying to get him to go along with what I needed from him.

“He is. Easily killable after his fight with me and no weapon to defend himself… Do you want to kill him?”

A silence fell over our group as we stood atop a building keeping tabs on everything from above while preventing anyone from bothering us since it would take some time for any of the droids or mercenaries to work their way up to us.

“Yes. No. I… I don’t know anymore.” His emotions surged, and his voice went from angry to exasperated, then just exhausted, like he was fed up with it all and unsure of what he wanted to do.

I stepped closer and placed a hand reassuringly on the suit. “Tell you what. We let him go, and once you get your legs back and have thoroughly trained with me, you can go after him.” The suit perked up as it was hunched over, if only slightly. “But if you do go after him, Maul, I want you to know and understand this. You do this not because you blame him for what happened that made you fall, and you don’t do it because of what your old master taught you. Not even for the Force. You do this because you want to and only after you have had time to contemplate and work through your emotions.”

He was torn, I could feel it through his emotions. He wanted to go after him now, but at the same time, there was doubt and hesitation. “Or you can go after him now. I won’t stop you, but if you do, I won’t teach you any longer from this point onwards, and you will be on your own. You can wait and see if you still want to when you have healed and become stronger, or do it now and lose any hope of a future. What do you want?”

I held both of my hands up, palms held to the sky as he looked between each one. He finally made his decision when he nodded towards my left hand, the one that was raised when the option for healing and becoming stronger was presented.

“I will wait. You… are far different from my old master. He would have called you weak for giving me a choice of my own among other reasons.”

Solution's smile became brittle and creepy as I felt the menace emanate from her through Haki. “No surprise. Your old master's opinion means little to me, especially since I am already proving to be a rather annoying thorn in his side. I am glad you made the decision you did. Also, thank you for being gentle with the Padawan.”

Maul kept silent after that, wanting an estimate of when to expect his surgery to begin. It wouldn’t be long after this. Even if Dooku demanded we do more, he would have to wait. Me doing this was courtesy enough, I now need to prioritize getting Maul back into fighting shape and ensuring his mental stability is healthy enough to let him go out and take more risky missions.

Maul still had that insanity within him. It was the thing that made his emotions go in any and all directions, none of them good, from both the emotions and how they could almost spiral out of control.

I looked off into the distance as I left Maul to brood with Pitou nearby just in case. “Solution, I am going to control someone else. Keep an eye on my body, please.”

She bowed with a soft smile. I looked off in the direction of a B1, and soon the scenery changed. I was looking at the city at the spaceport before I turned around, while finding myself annoyed at being back in a weak body like this. But it was only for the moment.

I quickly made my way into the ship and, with a quick use of my hacking skill, took out any form of surveillance inside… at least anything that wasn’t too obvious. My hacking skills, while good, weren’t anything too amazing either.

The stealth knowledge and my enhanced acting kicked in, letting me act just like any of the other droids without them even knowing I shouldn’t be here. The droid's memory, unlike the clones', I made sure it wouldn’t remember any of this even if it came off like it was a dream. I wasn’t letting that happen. It’s equivalent to a consciousness that was suppressed to the max.

It didn’t take me long to find the holding cells. Ahsoka was looking worse for wear, but overall she looked like she was in good health besides a few bruises. Maul and the forces he commanded had managed to capture her after one of the LAAT gunships she was on crashed into the side of the building he was in. It didn’t take much for Maul to subdue and capture her and handle the clones with her.

She looked up with a defiant gaze before it turned into a look of confusion when the barrier that kept her inside the small chamber went down and I tossed her lightsabers towards her, which she almost fumbled when she realized what I was doing.

“Come on, we don’t have much time.” I said with my normal voice and not the droid's. The same one she heard when I was using that clone's body that she had known to associate with me ever since I got my voice changing power.

“T-Tobi?! You can possess droids?” She looked like she just had her mind blown. “How are you doing that? Wait! Never mind that. Why are you helping me?” She said with a glare, replacing the many questions she had when she looked up at me with suspicion.

“Because I like you and don’t want you or Obi-Wan, or even your dickhead of a master, to needlessly suffer.” She came up short when she realized I had insulted Anakin and blushed at what I just called him before she gave me a reprimanding look.

I rubbed her back while pushing her along out of the cell after the cuffs had been removed, courtesy of her weapons. “Come on, don't dawdle, and don’t even think about saying your master wasn’t being stubborn or foolish when I was rather lenient.”

She didn’t ask any further questions, realizing the situation, and despite everything that happened, she trusted me not to somehow make this all out to be an elaborate trick. “Ahsoka!” Anakin said happily, no longer unconscious because, of course, he couldn’t still be knocked out and make things easier on me. His joyful expression shifted when his gaze landed on me in suspicion. “What’s with the droid?”

“Good to see you too… figured you could use a hand.” I said it like a smart ass with my voice giving away my identity while waving my free hand in front of the barrier. His expression darkened as one of his eyes twitched.

Ahsoka brushed into me with enough force that it almost knocked me over. “Tobi, while I appreciate you saving us, don’t taunt my master more than necessary. Especially when you took his hand from him.”

“Good job, Snips.” He thanked her, looking her over and not finding something he had hoped she would have before turning towards me in anger. “Where’s my lightsaber?”

“Only could get Kenobi’s and hers. Plus, I figured you would try to attack- okay.” I said calmly while I was pushed into the wall of the ship, the droid's body not being outright ripped apart courtesy of Anakin not going through with it just yet.

“Master!” Ahsoka got in his way and tried to pull his arm down.

“Out of the way, Ahsoka. I have unfinished business with Tobi.” He said, walking up to me and pushing past Ahsoka, who watched on in concern.

“He’s trying to help us, and he already said before that’s not his body, and for all we know, he can just hop into anyone’s, even a droid's."

Anakin paused, and unlike before, he registered and accepted her words. “That may be so… but it makes me feel better knowing I have him pinned to a wall after he killed my men.”

He glared up at me. I just chuckled awkwardly, and it somehow made him angrier. No matter what I did, it seemed to make him angry. A shame too, but me hurting Ahsoka on that first battle when I got in this galaxy seems to have poisoned whatever good will could have existed between us.

“I gave you an option to leave. Not to surrender, but to leave. The deaths of those soldiers by this point are not on my shoulders, but yours. Live with what you have done.”

A wrong choice of words that was made apparent when the metal wall cratered and parts of the droid's body were crushed with it. The chest and head were the only things relatively intact.

“What did you just say?” He asked me, despite clearly hearing what I had just said while stomping forward, about to do something, but stopped and paused before my perspective instantly shifted. Anakin’s body took far more energy to use and control, and even then my movements were slow to respond while Anakin was aware and fought me for control.

When he realized he couldn’t take control back, he did everything in his power to slow my movements and make everything as difficult as possible. Shaking my head in exasperation watching what was left of my temporary vessel fall to the floor in a sparking heap.

"Alright, thunder thighs, let’s go.” I turned on my heel as Anakin cursed me inside of his head, his thoughts drifting over to me and making every step agonizingly slow.

Ahsoka looked at me in shock, hand resting on her lightsaber. “Tobi? You better not have hurt Anakin.” She warned me.

"Relax, Ahsoka. He is fine and very much conscious right now, if anything, he is fighting me and slowing every movement as much as he can. A bad idea considering if he wants to escape, he better let me move fast," I said, the last part more directed at the guy currently choosing the wrong time to be spiteful in the worst way imaginable when it would screw him over more than anyone else by this point.

“So you don’t intend to steal his body?” Ahsoka asked, sounding unsure whether she should believe me or not.

“Nope. Last thing on my mind actually. If anything, it was to stop him from wasting time like he is now. He’s throwing a tantrum.” A leg jerked to the side that almost made me fall as Ahsoka watched on, blinking owlishly before helping me back up.

“… Alright, you have a point," She said after a moment's thought. I didn’t say anything about Anakin’s annoyance and feelings getting hurt when Ahsoka agreed and understood what I had done. Suck it, Skywalker. I am trying to help you, and you're about to screw over your former master and your own apprentice, I thought back to him this time, letting my thoughts, which were blocked off from him, reach him this time.

Ignoring his insults and some rather creative swear words I didn’t know existed in Star Wars as I led Ahsoka further into the ship. We evaded the few droids walking around with ease, the things making the army I sought to hijack made it look like a bad idea if they were this clueless. Entering into the room, we saw Kenobi, like Anakin, was inside of a cell, but he looked deep in thought until we entered the room and he got up smiling.

“Took you long enough, Anakin.” Obi-Wan noticed the small frown on Ahsoka’s face and turned back to me.

“I am afraid Anakin isn’t the one getting you three out of here.” My voice of Madara greeted Kenobi, whose smile swiftly faded and was replaced with a deep frown as his eyes narrowed.

Deactivating the barrier as he stepped forward. “You better not have hurt Anakin, and you especially don’t want to take his body. I can assure you of that.” He said with a warning before a look of surprise at his lightsaber being held out to him.

He took the offered weapon with some hesitation, but it faded once he realized I wasn’t here to fight them and was genuinely helping, like getting the inhibitor collar and cuffs off of him. “Alright, follow me. I know a ship you can use to escape.”

Kenobi gave me a long look before looking towards Ahsoka. She made a get on with it gesture while grimacing. He nodded slowly as we made our way through the ship before we came across a few transport ships.

The droids were lacking when it came to any awareness as Anakin finally let any resistance go as he realized I was helping them and it wasn’t a trick. Plus, it helped that I had given him a warning if he continued, he would likely get Ahsoka and Obi-Wan killed along with himself if I couldn’t keep up.

His body was in ridiculous shape, the kind that even without that wispy yet heavy feeling of what Esper told me was the Force, he would easily handle most heavy-weight fighters on Earth. Anakin was strong. It was absurd to think that without the Force, he was already insanely capable when it came to both physical strength and skill at fighting.

With the Force… he may as well have been straight out of a comic book compared to what people could do on my homeworld. The Force tried to whisper something to me, and I immediately shut it down. It was something that crossed my mind while the two followed behind me as I avoided using any powers or abilities beyond Pilot.

Becoming sensitive to the Force was something I had thought about for quite some time. Whether it was through using Esper as it made it known to me that it was possible to gain access to it with my new body being connected through the… Midichlorians.

Despite my low amount, it was possible to become connected to the Force even more than some of, if not all of, the Jedi and Sith throughout galactic history. The issue was becoming a puppet or tool to what the Force wanted, and that wouldn’t line up with what I wanted.

And if I didn’t act like a good little puppet, the Force might see fit to remove me from the board as a player when I would run amok of its plans and desires. That’s not getting started on the issue of the Force being a massive emotional feedback loop. Any negative emotions I feel or go through will be amplified, it’s why I don’t give the current era of Jedi as much grief as other people from my world would when it comes to closing themselves off from their emotions.

Closing oneself off from one's emotions wasn’t a good thing, but when the alternative is having someone who otherwise never went through turbulent emotions like anger or especially hate, it’s like adding gasoline and acid together. So for them the better alternative is simply depriving themselves of such things that have caused massive galactic wars.

Leaping over some boxes while putting Anakin's strong body through its paces. We moved fast and quickly, the droids in the hangar not noticing us as my skills in stealth made it an easy thing to move past them.

It didn’t take long to get to a ship when a droid made us turn around when it noticed us going up the ramp when the damn thing was taking too long to lower. It wasn’t one of us screwing up and knocking something over, instead, it was some cheap ass company that made their ship slow to act that almost got us caught.

"Hey, you’re not supposed to be out of your cel-- don’t worry, get going, and may the Force be with you all," I said once again, changing perspectives now inside of the droid and feeling my quickly draining energy come to an end. Now only a few drops are dripping out of what was at one point a fire hydrant spraying a huge chunk of its payload like it was fire season in California.

Anakin shook his head, pinching his nose, before he opened his eyes and leveled me with one hell of a glare. One that by this point I had shrugged off since dealing with Maul and feeling the at one point all-consuming hate he had inside of him made Anakin’s current resentment look like a kid's sparkler in comparison.

“Sorry I can’t get your men out of their predicament, so next time I suggest for you to leave, you leave. Also, some advice on finding the Sith Lord you’re after-- what position would someone need that would give them access to both plenty of wealth to fund the army you guys have that was created in secret and also the connections and resources while keeping the Jedi in the dark?”

I turned my back on them, and I could feel through Haki that Obi-Wan had to grab Anakin and force him into the ship to not pursue me while Ahsoka looked at me on the ramp with so many questions. Questions shared by Obi-Wan, who was fighting with himself to not interrogate me right then and there had he not been busy handling Anakin. It was only after she couldn’t see me any further that she walked away slowly with the ship soon taking off with the droids around me, questioning what was happening.

I stuck around for a moment before sneaking off, leaving the droid I had taken control of with a live grenade before I opened my eyes back inside my main body. Once again I was in a lap pillow from none other than Solution.

The rest of the planet was easy pickings, with the two clone forces commanded by Anakin and Obi-Wan now captured and sent to various holding facilities. The fleet they had was stuck in a stalemate with our ships entering the fray, and after the battle had been lost planet side, they were forced to retreat.

Solution smiled gently at me, rubbing her hand along one of my lekku, which made me shiver and feel all kinds of things. “Did it all go to plan, Tobi?”

I looked up at Solution's perfect face and soft features, with the cloak she wore emphasizing her assets and curves. “Yep. Bait was set, and I am curious which of them will try to investigate and spring the nasty surprises Sidious has for anyone that goes snooping around for anything connected to his past dealings.”

She tilted her head, hands trailing down my lekku that sent shivers down my spine with her warm hands that, despite her nature, felt too human and soft. Her fingers trailed off, circling around the end of them as I opened and closed my mouth as I stared back into her eyes as she looked pleased, smiling back down at me.

My hand gently took hers as my form began to shift subtly, becoming clammy and wet, like I had soaked up too much water and my body had pruned. Yet it was something deeper, like my body was more jelly-like than it was solid. Solution's expression shifted from one of compassion to one of… interest.

She shifted over me more, our faces growing closer, her breathing becoming heavier as she let out a warm huff of air. Before we could get any closer, a presence that appeared near us made me stop my body shifting back to what it was normally supposed to be like in surprise.

Haki showed Pitou padding along happily as she looked at Solution with a knowing look, and she frowned up at her for a brief moment before smiling and nodding. I guess even when they are a different species entirely, the ladies still somehow have a way of speaking an unspoken language that a measly man like me has no way of deciphering, let alone understanding.

Their emotions were a complex series of them as they went through each so fast I couldn’t figure out any of them. “So do you think they will look into it?” Pitou asked me curiously about whether they would heed my hint if they even figured out what job that would fit under.

Not many in the galaxy would fit that description, particularly on the part about it keeping the Jedi in the dark. Not many things in the galaxy keep the Jedi from investigating. Save for things involving the higher decisions made within the Senate.

“Have some of your agents and others we add into the mix keep an eye on Kenobi and Ahsoka. Anakin I highly doubt would look into it. Guy hates my guts right now, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he were the type to bite his nose to spite his face.”

Pitou nodded while I got up from Solution, and with the mood gone, I now realized I was going to have to keep my infernal side from running the show. I distracted myself by looking at the rewards gained from all that I had done, showing that jailbreaking them was worth it.

I felt the change already, the taste of the leftover food in my mouth from the food I had grown. It… it tasted not necessarily bad but now bland. Like I had been eating something that should have been delicious, like it was before, but I now found it lacking. How I could improve on it might be possible when combining this with my Ability with farming.

Something I probably am going to have to correct and put more time into because I am not subjecting myself to food that is now bland to me. I could do it for a time, but it would grow old fast.

Give a hint to the Jedi as to what position the Sith Lord has. Platinum ticket. Use now? Y/N

Even though it was a platinum ticket, I wasn’t angry. This made what I was going to do with Tatooine much easier. With this I could also set up farm worlds of planets that Jabba practically owned that most people didn’t bother with in out of the way locations in the Outer Rim.

Nodding to myself, pleased at what was gained from this conflict alone, even feeling the boost to my physical might through Sun Breathing. With my knowledge of it, I knew if I managed to reach full potential with it, I could easily surpass the speed boost of Lightning Breathing, but that would take time to achieve.

Too many things to do and too little time. Even with the various powers I have gained that boosted my training speed passively.

“It will be done, Tobi.”

I turned away from Pitou, looking out across the expanse, seeing the city have some peace after who knows how long the fight for it had lasted. I look forward to that peace once I bring this war to an end.
