[News] Art Progress and more!
Hello everyone, Corintio here!
Turns out that making a scene where Kalyskah performs a ritual to summon blood rain while dancing in front of a crowd is taking longer than we expected, but what happens next is much simpler, and we can deliver the continuation after this scene in the chrongram for this month and... It's actually better because that means that the whole plotline for what the prologue is about will be established in a single big pack!
But the fact that the cutscenes are still in work isn't stopping the rest of the team. We have tweaked Ilreth's hairstyle, adding a variation that will replace her current hair, but the original one she has will stay available for other NPCs and for Kalyskah as well.

The issue I had with the other hair for Ilreth was mostly in her forehead. So we tweaked the front so it will better mould her face, and when we add the elvish ears, it will look like this:

Something else we've been working on is the Female Peasant Attire. It will come with two options, one with the apron and the other without. And the dress is split into upper and lower halves, allowing us to blend with other outfits to create variations:

We've been moving forward with the combat review, where placeholder animations are already being implemented in the new system, and the ones we did in our mocap session are being studied to see if we can perform the clean-up to use them in the new system!
Tweaks on Tupelo's Level Design have been performed as well to improve the visuals in the area around the new cutscene.
And have a great Carnaval to all the other Brazilians out here!
