It's honestly a little surreal to find a script that resonates with you as strongly as this one did. We are talking a grown man, feeling entirely overwhelmed (and a little vulnerable) with all these emotions.

Wow, Daddy. That was such a beautiful and poignant script. And hearing such important, healing words with your voice? The perfect combination. I couldn’t help but cry while listening. 🥲 I’ve struggled with destructive empathy and survival my whole life and only through therapy was I able to start finding ways to protect myself. But what really broke my heart while listening is the fact that this feeling must be way more common than I thought 🥺💔 ~ Everyone deserves to have at least one person who will stay by their side no matter what, who isn’t afraid of depth and darkness. I guess that’s one of the reasons I try to be that for my loved ones, because I know how much it hurts to go it alone. Thank you for making this, Daddy 💕 It really is beautiful.
Destructive empathy can be such a quiet monster at times. I'm glad this resonated with you in such a significant way. It was something I stumbled across and just had to record.

I know! I never do those!! I'm trying to do more, and have a few that need edited. So fingers crossed they turn out. I'll be honest I have a bit of an imposter syndrome with scripts.
