About Time and Long Overdue...
It took a while to finally decide one where I could manage to squeeze a little recording "nook" into my existing space, but I managed to do just that. I'm quite happy with how it turned out and wanted to share it with you!
And for anyone who is interested in a bit more of the "tech-side" of the setup... What I was recording with:
- Logitech Blue Yeti X
- Sitting on a desk stand with a pop filter
- directly connected to computer via usb
- at my work desk
What I am now recording with:
- Rode NT1 Signature Series Microphone
- on an SM6 Shockmount with a pop filter
- connected to a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 usb audio interface
- at a separate workstation surrounded
- with foam dampening panels.
All-in-all, it is quite the upgrade and even if the difference is subtle, I've still be very pleased with the outcome and even just having a space dedicated to doing this. It really helps but me in a focused mindset when I sit down to brainstorm, record and respond ❤️
