UNVEILING THE NEXT UPDATE - 0.5.0!

Back To School!


Hello! How was 0.4.5? Was it worth the wait??

Silence time is over. While subscribers have known about the roadmap for a long while now, I haven't officially introduced what we'll be seeing next to the public. Until now!

NOT 0.5 - IT'S 0.5.0!


This distinction is important, of course.
Due to the long-winded nature of releasing new content recently, I will try to re-structure the way updates will be made to attempt a more consistent release instead.

I like to call this as the 0.5 Series of Updates, you can call it whatever you want. 0.5 arc? 0.5 season?? Doesn't matter!

Here is the current roadmap for the 0.5 series, starting with the immediate next one.

  • 0.5.0 - Back to School
    • Implements the School location, introduces new characters, and glues it all with minor events as you explore the place around.
    • Pick up where you left off with your dear perverted teacher - Ms. Claire...
  • 0.5.1:
    • Meet up with Chell Callahan, the quiet red-haired girl that is always lurking at the Library... She reeeally needs your help!!
    • Further your relationship with Ms. Claire, as you help her out taking pictures of other students this time around...
  • 0.5.2:
    • About time we hanged out with Emily and Abbie again, huh? Develop their relationships and find out more about the delinquent goth girls..
  • 0.5.3:
    • THE CONCLUSION...! All of these updates are building up to this special event, where you will uncover surprising things hiding at your School...
  • 0.5.4:
    • A collection for all the Extra Requests made during these releases!

I will keep these descriptions brief for now, since each update will have their time to shine! Today, it's time to share what's planned for 0.5.0...

THE SCHOOL LOCATION!

Trust me, this place is huge...!
There are a total of 7 sub-locations and 33 rooms for you to explore, and for characters to wander off to along the day.

You can get around the locations by clicking the usual pointers, or, you can Fast-Travel from certain key rooms in each location (through the shining Action Button!).

NEW MECHANICS!


Favor!

DAMN YOU, ADDING MORE GRINDY MECHANICS?!?

FAVOR is one new number to keep track of for some of the characters!
This meter will represent their happiness towards you, and will determine their willingness to do more stuff with you...
Some characters, like your core family, are already more than happy to spend time with you regardless. This system will be reserved for those girls that are more stubborn, and don't immediately love you on first sight like a few have.
You help them out with something they'd appreciate...

And you spend their favor with the stuff you want later ~

Don't worry! I will aim to have this mechanic be very unbalanced , meaning a single favor will net you plenty of special scenes until you have to work it back up. Think - getting 10 Favor for some help, then spending 2 for every lewd thing you do together... Should be simple, right ~ ?

Instancing!


As I populated the School with all the events I wanted, I started getting a lot of scheduling conflicts... What if I want to also have a scene with X character at that time, in their homes? Or doing something else off the School?

Instead of accepting the harsh realities of the Space-Time Continuum, I have instead designed an Instance System for the School!

If you arrive at the School during the Morning, you will be prompted to enter the School's Instance. This means you're locked in the School's premises, and characters that usually would be found at this time somewhere else (example: Penny in her Bedroom at the Morning) may be available to be found at the School instead!

You can also opt to leave the instance at any time by clicking on the map, but leaving School early will require a time-skip!
This is done so that inconsistencies are kept to a minimum (like seeing Penny at school, leaving the instance and then finding her still changing for school at home...?).
I cheated the time passage here for demonstration purposes... This sight would be impossible!
Mind you, only a few events will be exclusive to the Instanced School. This system will only be used if a character has scenes available outside the School, but it could make sense for them to still be there at that time. Hopefully, it makes sense! It's easy enough to maintain, at least.

Translocation??


Fine, fine! Clicking around all the time can get tedious to some. That usually is the point of a sandbox, but! I enjoyed the challenge behind implementing this feature... And it worked!

This new button in the Contacts App is the Translocation Button. It will instantly teleport you to wherever this character is at any given moment, provided you can enter that location!

You can now also pass time without closing the app too! This should make it easier to check for that character's routine, using the Locate button. As well as teleporting to them whenever you're ready.

That's all there is to it! Pretty busted, if you ask me...

So busted, in fact, I will be implementing an unlock method for each character, individually, until you can use this button... Which means, spending money at Greed, HAHAH!

But there will be an easier to unlock all of them than grinding out your blood money at Fermi or whatever. More on that for another day, rest assured!

It's now possible for me to tag each interaction with their according Gallery Entry, making it easier to spot which scenes you haven't seen yet! Less guessing, more action ~

NEW CHARACTERS!


Meet Katherine, Holly's younger sister!
She is yet another delinquent from Penny's classroom, and will show up as soon as you enter the School for the first time. We won't be seeing much of her for now, so expect more from her whenever we get to Holly first!

There will be other new characters coming - including girls - but they will be minor additions to the cast. Will share them to subscribers once they're ready!

The XXX-Mas requests have closed on the 17th, barely a week ago!
