OCTOBER BEGINS!
Coming through from the beyond... The ghosts of Halloween are soon approaching!
Welcome to OCTOBER! As is tradition here in the Cigar Rex Headquarters, Halloween Season means that all subscribers get to submit their requests for characters wearing costumes and cosplays of their liking!
I will try to keep track of all wishes and roll them out as time sees fit.
Although, I must warn you that this particular October is a bloody mess, since Brazil is having its most important election in the last 20 years. Let's see if I can even keep up... There's even a Dragon's Dogma DLC coming in 7 days!!
REGARDLESS! This isn't all this post is for! No, no... There's something far more important here!
THE OFFICIAL 0.5.3 OVERVIEW!
It has been a month since 0.5.2 released. You guys seem to have liked it! I have given myself some much-needed rest during September, since production from 0.5.0 till 0.5.2 has been a bit frenetic. But now we're back on track...
In 0.5.3, you will spend your time with EMILY!
As promised - We're entering the final steps in the 0.5 arc!
The next update will see you finally being able to visit Emily and Abbie (and Sebastian!) in their own apartment, any time, as soon as you reach the Sandbox. No pre-requisites, since you all had a ton of fun in that Night Club already... In particular -- We will focus on Emily this time around, and crack the tough shell around this needy, needy tsundere from your childhood.
...by helping out her STREAMING CARREER? As it turns out... This cynical girl has been hiding a surprising hobby from your schoolmates. Emily has always been a gaming prodigy, so maybe this carreer will work out for her? She hasn't had much success yet. But you're here to help her, are you not? Eventually, you may even take her out on a date, and seal something greater between you two...
Production is well under way! Here are a few teases for you:
Of course, expect some Abbie here and there as well... You can't have one without the other!
COMING... eventually.
We will also have a 0.5.2b update before that, featuring a few extras from our esteemed patrons. I have reunited a healthy variety of requests for that already. A later post will dive deeper into what we'll have for future B updates until the end of 0.5!

Slight Delay!
I said earlier on that the update would come out in July.
I'm still trying to push for it, but things like my thesis kinda got in the way earlier this month, and a little miscalculation where I thought the big extra scene was ~400 renders long when it's actually well over 600 (lol), which means it'll take some more time to write than anticipated.
There are also some animations I must finish to wrap the extra up. It could be rushed by spamming pre-made anims all over the scene instead, but I wanna try doing some from scratch first and see how it goes. I'm expecting a mix of those tbh.
Anyways, I'm just pointing this out because I can't comfortably say the update comes out in July right now, most likely it'll be out Early August anyways. I don't like setting any release windows because this happens all the time, but it also works as some motivation to get things done faster.
Thanks for the patience guys.
Or not! Get mad! Get ANGRY!!! DAMN YOU, CIGAR REX!
I WANT TO JERK OFF TO CAROL AND CHELL AND MS. CLAIRE AND BEATRICE AND ROSE AND ZOEY AND KATHERINE AND HOLLY AND PENNY AND ROBIN AND MAGGY ALREADY!!
