Important Update - Please Read

So, there's a bit of a big update about the project and it's unfortunately not good news. As you are aware the project has not had the smoothest of sailings this year. In fact this year has been specifically rough for the project and me too. And it seems the rain continues to pour...
I'll cut straight to the chase and say I'm very disappointed to announce, through measures beyond my control, there has been significant delays in the art department for the past short while. I won't go into details as that would be disrespectful and unprofessional to those involved, but it unfortunately has affected the ability to generate a new build in a timely manner.
With that said, the project is going to go on a hiatus for a while as we try to pick things up again and go from there. I know this is disappointing news, especially given everything else that has happened this year, but it is unfortunately beyond my control to prevent.

With that said, the project is going to go on a hiatus for a while as we try to pick things up again and go from there. I know this is disappointing news, especially given everything else that has happened this year, but it is unfortunately beyond my control to prevent.
To clarify a couple of things though:
- The project is not being abandoned
- Witchking will still be producing artwork going forward
- The subscribestar will remain open so people can continue to support if they wish to and get us back on track
- Beta builds will be removed from all reward tiers
- Beta builds will hopefully return next year starting from sometime in Q2 onwards
- Space Pimp & Space Ranger tiers will operate as normal from this month onwards
- I recommend Space Pirates cancel their pledge or move down to Space Cowboy (though you can continue supporting as Space Pirate if you wish!)
- Space Cowboys (& Space Pirates) will gain access to the bonus sketches (though only Space Pimps & Rangers will have access to the Alternate Universe small game project)
Hopefully this will be the last hurdle in the project until it comes time to release it completed. I appreciate you all for sticking with the project through thick and thin, it really means a lot and I hope by the end of this journey we can all celebrate with what has been created!

Sad news indeed, but hoping that things finally pick back up for this great game! I'll be a supporter til the very end, so Q2 2025 can't come soon enough!

It’s sad but it is what it is. Thanks being up front. I will however NOT lower my pledge. Until you say the game IS abandoned, I will continue to support you and everyone involved to make this game. I hope everything works out and best of luck. 😄👍
I remember you saying there were some problems a couple of months ago, sad to hear that unfortunately it will put the project on hiatus.
On the other hand, glad that it won't be abandoned. Iirc this is a passion project, and we can really see all of the hard work and love that is being put in it through the builds, it has a lot of potential.
Here's hoping that the situation gets resolved, and you can get back to work in peace and without any hitches.
