End Of Year Newsletter

Hello, everyone!

2023 is coming to a close, and it felt appropriate to whip up a letter with my thoughts on 2023 and its accomplishments.

Here it is!

Story Releases This Year

A LOT of great smut came out of Subscribestar-exclusive releases in 2023, courtesy of everyone’s great ideas in this year’s Prompt Polls and everyone’s picks in the Story Continuation Polls.

Here is the full list of all Subscribestar-exclusive releases this year:

Gaslighting Therapist – Chapters 7 & 8 (finale);

Behind The Closed Door – Chapter 1 (One-shot);

Welcomed Into A Depraved Futanari Family – Chapter 4;

House Of Temptations – Chapters 1 & 2;

Adding A BBC To The Family – Chapters 3, 4, 5, and 6;

Method Acting – Chapters 1 & 2 (finale);

Speak Softly And Carry A Huge Fucking Stick – Chapter 1 (One-shot);

Passing The Sin Along – Chapters 1 & 2;

Like A Lamb To The Sexual Slaughter – Chapters 1 & 2;

Learning From President – Chapter 3;

Not All Rabbits Are Herbivores – Chapter 1 (One-shot);

Stacy’s Got The Wheel – Chapters 1 & 2;

The Black King Piece – Chapter 1;

Something Is Seriously Wrong With Carrie – Chapter 1.

That’s 23 Subscribestar-exclusive releases this year! A lot of smut, if you ask me; Hopefully, high quality! If I average out to 22,000 words per story (it’s probably more, to be honest), that would mean a total of 506,000 words of pure degeneracy. Of course, this is only counting Subscribestar-exclusive releases. If we include commissions, it’s a lot more.

Personally, I think my writing style continued to evolve this year, and I had a lot of fun writing every story. I also went quite wild on some weird characters this year, but that’s unavoidable; I love writing them eccentric, and I think you guys like that too, or you wouldn’t be here.

I hope to write a lot of hardcore Subscribestar-exclusive stories in 2024 as well!

…And a lot more ‘eccentric’ characters too.

Productivity

This was a very productive year for me. Not only did my HF, AO3, and Subscribestar pages grow a lot, but my word output skyrocketed – at least in my assessment. By my math, I wrote out roughly 1,200,000 words this year. If we assume 450 words +- per page (which is what I usually get with the font and character size I use), that would be 2,666 pages of smut +-.

I know different authors have different paces, but it’s a lot to me at the very least. I intend to maintain this rhythm next year as well.

Throughout 2023, I’ve tried a bunch of things to optimize my outlining/writing/revising/imaging process, and I’ll keep looking for ways to optimize further, but I believe I am in a pretty good place now regardless.

Nonetheless, despite what I deem pretty good productivity (with an increase from September on due to life changes), I still haven’t managed to wrestle my queue back under control. In part, a lot of it is my fault. Going wild on Adding A BBC To The Family 5 & 6 and putting an un-queued chapter of Gaslighting Therapist in December certainly did not help.

Still, I just could not help it! I hope everyone enjoyed the chapters!

Closing My Queue and Potential Changes for 2024.

At this end of year, I’ve made a decision to do something I have not done yet: I’ll be fully closing my queue on January 5th. By fully, I mean I will accept literally no more commissions, regardless of tier subscription. This is something I try to avoid doing, but time is sadly finite and I want to keep the queue from growing any bigger as I cut through it.

My intention is to keep my queue fully closed until I’ve cleared out all commissions and brought the Subscribestar-exclusive queue back to a 30-day window release. So, it’ll probably be closed for a few months into 2024.

One of the reasons behind my queue growing endlessly out of my control is a matter of scalability: I try to keep it always open for sequels and those subscribed in certain tiers with limited slots. Mixed with my ‘large-sized’ Subscribestar-exclusive stories, it is hard to avoid this endless growth. It also limits my ability to try some off-the-cuff releases that I may want to do but are not in my queue, such as Gaslighting Therapist’s 8th chapter, since I simply lack the time.

When I reopen in 2024, I intend to make changes to how my queue will work moving forward. That may involve opening only in brief batches or making changes to special tiers, or whatever else. I have not made any decisions in any direction yet. Unfortunately, like I said, time is finite, so I need to figure out better ways to organize it that may involve changes to how my process has worked thus far.

Either way, I’ll figure all that out once I get closer to reopening again. For now, let it be registered that I am FULLY closing off on January 5th and may make changes in 2024, though I’ll do my best to make announcements as early as I can. As always, thank you all for your understanding and continued support.

A General Thank You

It goes without saying, but I am very appreciative of all for supporting me in this smut-writing endeavor. I am always happy to know that there are people interested in reading the weird characters and stories that I very much enjoy writing, whether they’re dark, light, wholesome, hardcore, funny, serious, just outright batshit insane, etc.

This page has grown a lot in subscriber count since the beginning of 2023 (and especially since the middle of 2022, when I migrated to Subscribestar). I hope to continue seeing it grow and improve through 2024!

My intention is to continue giving it my all in story output and quality! I hope everyone continues to enjoy my deranged lunacy in written form.

This is my last post of the year. September’s Prompt Poll winner is fully written out but still only halfway through revision and image generation, so there’s no way I’m getting it out today. Gaslighting Therapist – Chapter 8 wound up being a little longer than I aimed, which resulted in the present delay. Again, time is finite and I go too wild at times. Expect it in very early January!

With this, I conclude 2023! I hope everyone has an excellent New Year’s.

Thank you all for your support throughout 2023, and see you in 2024!
