Meet The Characters Part 1

Elijah

Age: 43

Race: American Japanese

Occupation: Licensed Freelance Therapist, Formerly Architect,

Family: Husband to Rebecca, Middle child of 3 and two Heterosexual parents, Father of Callie, Savannah, Maya, Ren and

Elijah is the MC of the story Eternal Bonds. Meeting both Maria and Rebecca in high schoool, Elijah would form life long relationships with both women. Elijah would engage in a short romantic relationship with Maria in high school resulting in the birth of Callie his oldest child. he would go on to date and eventually marry Rebecca.

After graduating from College with a bachelors in architecture, Elijah would go on to have a very successful career as an architect while at the same time him and rebecca would becom the proud parents to their children Savannah, Maya, and Ren

After 20 years of marriage Elijah would suffer incredible heartbreak when Rebecca past away. Elijah would suffer through heavy set depression and began to neglect the ones around him, he would eventually seek psycological help. After consistent visits to a therapist Elijah began to emotionally and mentally recover from a significant loss and would become inspired to become a therapist himself to help other the way he had been helped.

Elijah is now fresh and eager to start his new career but, will he be able to balance his new job and still help his now fully grown former wards or will he ultimately struggle to move forward and end up spiraling?

Rebecca

Age: 42

Race: Black

Occupation: Corporate Lawyer

Family: Wife to Elijah and oldest child of 2. Single Mother Deceased Father, Mother of Savannah, Maya, and Ren, second mother to Callie

Rebecca came from a rough upbringing, having absent parents rebecca would find herself consistently looking after her younger sister. Her, Maria, and Elijah would all meet in high school and form life long bonds with each other. Rebecca would go on to study at college and would eventually become a lawyer, marrying Elijah as well. While having a successful career as a corporate lawyer Rebecca wouldgive birth to 3 daughters Savannah, Maya, and Ren all the while being a second mother to Callie.

Unfortunately after 20 years of marriage Rebecca would succumb to an unknown illness and sadly pass away. Her death would leave many hearbroken and struggling to recover from her loss especially her husband Elijah. Her death although tragic would inspire many of the children she had taken care of to purse their dreams and goals in her honor. She would also be memorialised by Savannah in the naming of her oldest child Becca

Savannah

Age: 23

Race: biracal (Half Asian half Black)

Ocupation: Paralegal, Student

Family: Elijah and Rebecca (Parents) Callie and Vivan (Half Sisters) Maya and Ren (Sisters)

Relationship Status: Single

The oldest of Rebecca and Elijahs children Savannah was considered to be quite a shy child often struggling to make friends. She however would quickly form a close attachment to her older sibling Callie the pair forming a strong bond with each other.

Savannah would excel in high school and successfully apply to college, however right as she was due to attend Rebecca would unfortunately pass away. After taking a year off to mourn and help Elijah and Callie look after Ren and Maya, Savannah would once again attend college with the goal of getting her law degree and following in the footsteps of her role model. This however would be short lived as in a cruel twist of fate Savannah would once again have to put attending college on hold when after losing her virginity during a trip to japan she would become pregnant with her first child. Giving birth to a baby girl she would go on to memorialise her mother naming her child Becca in honor of her.

Savannah now a single mother looks raise her child while rejoining college and finish her law degree but will she be able to achieve her goal, or will fate once again deny her?

Maya

Age: 21

Race: Half Asian Half Black

Family: Elijah and Rebecca (Parents), Callie and Vivian (Half Sisters) Savannah and Ren (Sisters)

Relationship Status: In a Relationship

The Second oldest child of Elijah and Rebecca. Maya would develop and abrasive attitude towards both  her parents and siblings often clashing with them regulary but would always hold a soft spot for her younger sibling Ren  Maya would keep a low profie during her time at high school, however when her mother pasted away, Maya would begin to act out skipping school, dying her hair, obtaining piercings, and constantly getting into fights with both Callie and Savannah.

Due to her incredibly high Grades Maya gained entry into an exclusive college of which she now attends full time visiting her family every so often for special occasions and holidays.

Will Maya be able to grow closer with her Family? or will she pull away all together?

Ren

Age: 19

Race: Biracial (Half Asian Half Black)

Occupation: Self Employed Artist

Family: Elijah and Rebecca (Parents), Callie and Vivian (Half Sisters), Savanah and Maya (Sisters) 

Relationship Status: Single

The Youngest child of Rebecca and Elijah  Ren would develop a special bond with Rebecca seceretly becoming her favorite of her daughters (Though she'd never admit it). Ren with the help of her mother would explore her creative side in an attempt to help her adjust to her new home. The nourishment of Rens creative side would lead to some negative effects though for many in the family, as a micheavious youth Ren would often pull pranks and play tricks on her fellow sisters especially with Callie and Maya. After Rebeccas passing, Ren would continue to follow her creative passions dropping out of high school on her last year she turned her artwork into a career. After gaining entry into an artshow at the local gallery her exhibit would become a rousing success with many offers coming in from multiple clients.

Can Ren continue her success of good fortune? Or will she crash and burn before her career truly takes off?

Maria

Age: 40

Race: Hispanic (Columbian)

Occupation: Hospital Administrator, Former Nurse

Family: Middle Child of 4 Daughter of Two Lesbian Parents Mother of Callie and Vivian

Relationship Status: Single

Hailing from a big family, Maria is the middle child of 4 siblings. Meeting Rebecca and Elijah in high school Maria would go on to form life long bonds with both of them and had a short romantic relationship with Elijah resulting in the birth of her oldest Callie. After High school Maria would not attend college with Elijah and Rebecca but rather ended staying with her family to assist with her Mothers declining health. She would still maintain consistent contact with both Rebecca and Elijah during their college years and would even be present at their wedding as a bridesmaid for Rebecca.

When her Mothers health improved Maria after being inspired by Rebecca would attend nursing school becoming a nurse at the local hospital. After Rebecca and Elijah had their 3rd daughter, Maria desired to have a sceond child and reached an agreement with elijah and rebecca that would lead to the birth of Vivian

Maria would continue to be a nurse for several years until Rebecca Passing. After losing one of her closet friends and inspiration for her career choice Maria became unable to continue being a nurse however still wanting to work and the hospital and do some good she instead chose to become a hospital administrator.

Callie

Age: 26

Race: Biracal (Half Asian, Half Columbian)

Occupation: Reporter

Family: Elijah, Rebecca and Maria (Parents) Vivian (Sister) Savannah, Maya, Ren (Half Sisters)

Relationship Status: In a Relationship

Callie the oldest child of Elijah and Maria, would be born during a high school tryst between her parents at the age of 14. She is the oldest child of Rebecca, Elijah and Maria. During her early years Callie would have to constantly go between both Maria's and Rebecca's and Elijahs houses due to her mothers busy schedule as a nurse. Callie would quickly form a close relationship with her father and would go on to become his favorite daughter, a secret well known and made fun of by everyone else. Due to her friendly nature and radiant personality, Callie would quickly a form an incredibly close relationship with her siblings due to her age difference she would often help them in taking care of them becoming a secondary parental figure to them, and would come to form a close relationship with her sisters Savannah and Vivian. 2 years after both Maya and Ren were born, Callie moved out completely and into to Maria's home along with Vivian to allow the couple more space to raise their new girls and to help reduce costs in taking care of all of them. she would still constantly visit offering to help babysit her younger sisters and even offering to help pay for food and items needed an offer that was consistently declined.

Callie would go on to attend College and get a degree in Journalism, however she would temporarily pause her studies when Rebecca passed away to help Elijah raise Maya and Ren. She would shortly return to her studies getting her degree and obtaining a job a the local newspaper. After working there for a few years and a 2 year stint in Japan, Callie resigned from her work to focus on her own independant journalism work and to spend more time with her family

Will Callie come to regret her decision? or will her choice to bet on herself and her own happiness pay off?

Vivian

Age: 18

Race: Biracel (Half Asian, Half Columbian)

Occupation: Student

Family: Elijah and Maria (Parents) Callie (Sister) Savannah, Maya, Ren (Half Sisters)

Relationship Status: Single

The youngest of Elijahs children Vivian developed a warm relationship with her parents and quickly grew close to her older sister Callie following her around and always insisting to go with her whenever she would stay at Elijahs and Rebeccas place.

When Rebecca past away though Viv did not have a strong relationship with her like the rest of her fellow sisters, she was still incredibly sad for her passing and would attempt to help everyone else in their grief especaily Maria and Callie.

After Graduating high school early Vivian would apply for and be accepted entry into the same college as Maya. Though she is finding it more struggling than she anticipated.

With the competative nature of her new school and the cuthroat attitude of her classmate. Will Vivian be able to manage or will she fall underneath the pressure?
