“Don’t worry about him—” Lainey assured her husband that there was no reason to worry about her friend, Ryan, moving in. “It’s like I keep telling you, he needs a place to stay, and we need help with rent now that you’re… y’know. Shrinking.”
A few months later, Chase, Lainey’s husband, now stood the size of a doll on his coffee table; his face shoved against Ryan’s giant, sour-smelling sole. It was now his job to keep his wife and her boyfriend happy, and that often meant humiliating tasks were in store for the tiny husband.
