Similar to gooseberry bushes, the deadly mimic deploys its trap as it approaches an organic victim. Its vines ooze an acid that melts tissues, but not the hair, scales, feathers or skin of its prey. The mimic will draw on its prey's magical reserves to satiate itself, using its vines to penetrate available orifices and create repeated orgasms for the victim. This method is as much about sparking off magic as it is about coaxing the victim in the midst of a puncture. However, if the prey has little or no magic, its vital energy will be drained, which can be fatal for neophytes.
