What's up my dudes! Third devlog for Falorant Ep. 4 V3.
This week I finally wrapped up those animations for when Viper wins a round, plus the game over animation. I always tend to underestimate the final sound design and coding work, and honestly, I wasn’t even planning to implement the achievements feature yet… but since I ended up finishing the special (nude) versions of these three scenes, I decided to pull a crunch day and add them as unlockable rewards so the beta testers (Heroes and Istaris) can try them out and let me know how everything’s working in the beta-testing build (find it here).
For now, the nude end-of-round scenes unlock if you win 3 rounds in a row, and the nude game over unlocks if you win 4 rounds in a row. And to make things more challenging, the achievements system checks the difficulty of the game (the number of initial slowdowns available) so it will only reward you if you set that number to less than 5 (it's 2 by default).
Let me know how it goes, what do you think (avoid spoilers: message me directly for content related stuff) and if you stumble upon any wild bugs.
What's up fellas. This is the second Falorant Ep. 4 V3 devlog!
As I told you last week, over the past week I’ve been working on all the defeat animations for the player against Viper, which will be featured in Falorant Ep. 4 V3. These animations include scenes for losing the round, a game over scene and, based on an idea from our friend Princess Bella, I’d like to later add an achievement that unlocks a special (more revealing) version of these scenes as a reward. And it’d be super cool to do the same with the Jett teabagging scene :3
Because of the perspective, these scenes tend to be quite a pain to animate. The Jett and Neon ones were tough, but these Viper ones are turning out to be the hardest of all and I’m also going all-in on the detail work, so here I am, still at it. They’re almost done, so I’ll probably be adding them (or at least the finished ones) to the beta-testing version tomorrow, you know, the one available early as a perk for Istaris and Heroes, so I can hear your thoughts.

Loved seeingthe votes for your favorite episode were pretty split, but in the end Episode 3 came out on top. What did you like most about that one?
(I just saw Ep. 2 ended up winning lol, but let's see what do we like the most about Ep. 3 anyway, I'll ask about Ep. 2 the next time)
