This tier has the earliest access to all game updates and grants access to two discord channels that are for the purpose of showing spoiler heavy plans and to discuss them with me, possibly giving me suggestions that could alter future updates to be even better than I planned them to be.

Pause

I've read all comments, including on Discord, it was nice to see clear reasonings, though varied. I know the poll won for a Lisa-only game but I also get what the actual message is with that.

From now on, all focus on this game will be on Lisa till I either finish at least one corruption path with Kord or the majority of you all are satisfied. The corruption path will likely be "oblivious" considering the recent wallpaper poll but I'll post an official public poll to decide the path soon.

But yes, I am pausing the release of updates. Why pause? Mainly for my mental, but I also need time to reorganize my plans and make sure my head's actually in it rather than trying to force anything, for the sake of the game, all of our time & your guys' money not being put to waste. Even when I do get into that state though, I will just be working on the game without updates for a little bit to make certain of if I'm still in it, feel like continuing to make the game and so there will be an actual update when I'm back.

How long will the pause be? Undecided. Read below if it will help give you an idea considering that this all is mainly dependant on my mental.

I understand that the ones who are loudly unhappy do no care for or believe anything I say, that's been made clear on repeat for a little while now, (also some people seem to not be able to grasp the idea of there being my own perspective on all of this) but I'll try explaining everything anyway to those not trying to look for the next thing to shoot spit balls at.

I do as I originally planned from the beginning, which is to get Lisa to a point where she loves Kord then to temporarily start working on a different character. My way too optimistic thought process with continuing with that plan despite knowing how different it would be was that support was at such a point that I thought people would continue to support if I made May well enough and thus I could hire someone to help make the game with me so I could work on both May & Lisa at the same time, that did not work out.

I tried to keep it going for 2 updates in total to see if it was only because of recency bias and to see if it was because I messed up May. What came from that was continuous comments from F95 that consisted of "we want Lisa back", which is completely fine and I would likely have paused May in that scenario, but it wasn't conveyed in just that way.

Many have written so much about how I'm thinking of nefarious money hungry plans, some try so hard to avoid talking about Lisa and just imply that the game is bad or that the new character is boring whilst not even knowing her name yet making sure to tell everyone their opinion, comments that have of course been caused by the change in heroine considering the lack of comments before these two latest updates. The reviews since these 2 updates have been very few and almost all of the same variety, rating the game low not because of game quality but because Lisa is paused. it causes any potential audience for the new character and in general to become damn near impossible. This all matters because of the site, F95, where almost all new players come from, and many read comments & check recent reviews before deciding on checking out any game, as they should.

Regardless, I admit that what I did was a mistake, it's obvious. Not with my actual game plans, but my scheduling. An issue like that was bound to happen at some point since it was going way too smooth leading up to it. After all, this is my first game, there are many planned heroines + NTR characters (just the mix and matching aspect was making it difficult to choose 1 path to get where I want to be), I have 0 prior experience in pretty much everything required for this game. No prior coding experience, no knowledge or experience in any form of art, no real writing experience outside of schooling, very anti-social online and honestly not that much gaming experience either since I am and have always been just a LoL drone. Everything thus far and from my plans are simply my vision of a good NTR game that I really want to make.

It may have been better if my first attempt was a failure, that way I could at least start with some experience, but here we are.

My mood was honestly starting to get a lot better after this poll and reading all the non-hate driven/Lisa obsessed comments, but then I see the F95 response (which I have no choice but to look at considering its importance for any adult game dev) and immediately realized that, with my mental, a pause is inevitable. Trying to be as honest as possible without being too toxic, I am not a fan of pseudo-intellectuals that will jump through any hoop, ignore contradicting facts & even throw what they want under the bus just to sound like they're in the right. I'm not saying this just because of the hit to the game's reputation, though it is definitely a factor, but I genuinely do have a deep personal hatred toward people of that mindset.

My ego is far bigger than I'd like it to be and in this mood I'm in and have been in for a little while, there is no chance I can just push through without a mental reset. I genuinely can no longer go a day without a headache and I'm at a point of pettiness that would be better left a secret despite the amount of oversharing above.

I sincerely apologize to any actual supporters, whether paying or verbal, for this pause and for the fact that my mind works this way, but I cannot help it.

Sidenote - Looking for someone who can code

Probably not helping with preventing me from mental booming. I hired another dev, whom I got recommended by a good friend, for months of work for a H guild-adventuring-battling system I wanted to make as great as possible only for him to randomly quit and leave me with wasted time, wasted money and essentially nothing to use. Wanted to quickly add this just in case anyone reading knows a dev with time on their hands that I could hire for this same system and if you are a dev then please DM me on discord (user: obliviousntr) if interested. What do you expect/want the game to be?

I'm honestly lost on what people are imagining my game to be. I'm getting accused of "milking" people with the decisions I've made but I have affectively changed nothing from my original game plans that were made before I even started this game. Even the timing of another heroine being added was something I kept mentioning for months publicly leading up to the poll for May but people are still confused and annoyed by it.

So, I'd like to actually see what it is that you all want out of my game. What you expect and want this game to be.
