[Vampire+ Release] Version 0.28.5

Hello everyone!
This a hotfix (Yes another!). Just a few things changed:
Changelog Version 0.28.5
  • By the Bushes Tweaks:
    • Kalyskah will properly undress if she joins the scene,
    • Tendency will be properly updated on relevant choices,
    • Fixed an issue that characters would T-Pose if Kalyskah joined them, and a threesome toysystem scene will be properly initiated.
  • Fallen Temple: Made an workaround to force the Goblin to appear at the end of the bandit cave when you reach the top of the tower.
  • Fallen Temple: Made an workaround that might fix Brooke not dropping the key for Merishya's cage if you fight her before talking to Merishya (needs to be properly tested though)

[Vampire+ Release] Version 0.28.4

Hello everyone
We are adding two new activities in this demo. We call them activities because our goal is to bring life to the world through events you can find while exploring, without turning them into full questlines. This way, the world feels dynamic without being filled with repetitive tasks.
I had planned to spend more time refining the cutscenes, but considering the deadline, I realised it would be better to set my perfectionism aside for now. Next month, I will focus on improving what we already have while waiting for the writer to finish the new quests.
Kalyskah – Version 0.28.3 Changelog
Fixes
• Fixed an issue that was causing male genitalia not to show up.
• Fixed issue preventing game settings to be properly saved.
• Ongoing work and fixes on the Save System to improve reliability and prevent crashes. We couldn’t fully fix it yet but let us know if Kalyskah’s appearance is being loaded more reliably. If you are in the open world and want to load another save game in the open world, you should head back to the main menu and load the save from there. It circles the crash.
Enhancements:
• Multiple enhancements across several cutscenes (Not fully done yet)
QUESTS
• Added "By the Bushes" event:
– You can find this activity by exploring behind the library
– You will notice that the NPCs don’t leave the place of the quest afterwards, that’s because we are going to rework the way we handle the NPCs schedules to handle their state machines before and after certain quests.
• Added "Pesky Pirates" event:
– This activity is close to where you can find the meteor, by the road.
• Added and synced new dialogue audio for:
By the Bushes
Pesky Pirates
– Most of the Captive Rescue quest

[Vampire+ Release] Version 0.28.2

Hello everyone!
This is a hotfix that will solve a few issues you've reported:
Fixes:
  • Further tweaks in the landscape and vegetation to prevent collisions from happening when it shouldn't (Let us know if you feel the open world's performance decreased because I didn't regenerate the Landscpe LODs and if any impact of performance can be noticeable, it's probably because of that)
  • Fixed wrong acolyte being placed during the Sacrifice Scene after the Massage
  • Fixed chests in the prologue dungeon and also tweaked their contents so you can find the Silver variation of the Karnstein Legion armour
  • Fixed containers not being properly Saved,
  • Fixed keys not being properly looted from containers
  • Fixed concluding Merishya's quest not giving the key to the Sacrificial Chamber
Enhancements:
  • When you complete a quest that you're tracking, the game will automatically either set you to track a new quest, or clear the UI if there's no more available quests for you to track. 
Features:
  • Added audios to the dialogue between Kalyskah and Ursula (I didn't setup all the emotes Ursula plays yet because releasing this patch to fix issues were more important for now)

But I would recommend downloading it through itch because we are already gathering a list of improvements and there will be a new patch next week to fix some issues that were left and also to add new content.

Hello everyone!
Thank you a lot for your patience in the past week. We've gathered your feedback, made a list of what needs to be solved and we are still tackling it. But as promised, we'll be patching the game as we reach a few fixes milestones to ensure there's no critical issues happening in the game's live version. Here's the changelog:
Kalyskah – Version 0.28.1 Changelog
AUDIO & DIALOGUE
• Added Gerrard's voice lines for the Acolyte Rescue quest.
• Implemented Brooke's dialogue for the same quest and enhanced ambient lines. (we recasted Brooke, the next patch will feature her new voice during the speech scene as well.)
• Recast Kaida to Lidia (Nemesis Voice Actress), with her new voice lines fully integrated.
• Fix so Kalyskah looks at Brooke during their second quest interaction.
• Brooke is properly reset at the end of her dialogues, so you can speak to her without restarting the game.
ENVIRONMENT & LEVEL FIXES
• Fixed tree LODs, tree collisions, and main roads.
• Corrected cutscene triggers and visual inconsistencies by the roadside.
• Addressed bug causing the entrance to the underground temple to apply underwater effects.
• Adjusted post-process volumes in the Blood Bath and other key areas.
• Readjusted underground temple layout to reflect the Prologue era.
• Rebuilt HLODs for performance.
• Fixed broken LODs and render distances for vegetation.
• Optimised vegetation fading and draw distance.
QUESTS & EVENTS
• Improved quest variable handling: the journal will display correctly remaining enemies and timers .
• Fixed the Massage Scene to show the Sacrifice conclusion properly.
• Adjusted variables for the Crystal Research quest to prevent crashes.
• Fixed Farley’s quest: box physics now work as intended and avoid falling into the ocean.
• Fixed locked doors that were preventing you to fully access the underground temple.
UI & GAMEPLAY
• Fixed the Continue button behaviour in the main menu.
• Cleaned up Save/Load logic and removed invalid maps.
• Set Open World as the default map fallback if for some reason your game breaks on loading.
• Checkpoint cameras now correctly displays.
• Adjusted inventory defaults: all items now enable breast physics and cleavage by default to fix visual bugs.
• BDSM device placements and interactions corrected.
• “Fledgling Absence” cutscene no longer causes a black screen.
• Bandits no longer try to negotiate with Kalyskah when they should not.
KNOWN ISSUES:
• There's still a crash happening if you try to load the game while in the open world but we'll fix this soon.
• The Game Settings is still being tweaked and at the moment isn't saving everything correctly
• Some things in the character customisation such as lipstick is still not fully working
• If you use the Photo Mode, it will freeze the game.
• Other issues reported HERE that we didn't have time to fix yet.

[Patron Release] Kalyskah 0.28.0 – Prologue Begins

Hello everyone, Corintio here!
We’re excited to bring you version 0.28.0, the first part of Kalyskah’s Prologue, now fully integrated with Unreal Engine 5! It’s been months of hard work, and while some areas still need fine-tuning, seeing the new cutscenes and environments come together in this engine has been incredibly rewarding.

What’s New

  • You’ll now have the option to start a new game either in the Fallen Temple or from the Prologue.
  • A new quest will trigger when you take the road outside Kalyskah’s temple.
  • All cutscenes and lighting setups have been reviewed and improved.
  • In the Fallen Temple path, the goblin companion now behaves more consistently after unlocking the hovering ability, helping Kalyskah travel between the mines and the upper levels.
  • We fixed the issue that was preventing you from customising Kalyskah.
Settings Overhaul (Partial)
We’ve begun migrating game settings from the old system-save structure to proper .ini files. While Audio Settings and a few UI elements are still under construction, this transition means:
  • No more persistent bugs with settings not saving.
  • A more reliable and scalable configuration system moving forward.
Important:
To avoid compatibility issues with old settings, we recommend doing the following:
➤ Press Windows + R, paste %localappdata%\Kalyskah, and clear that folder before launching the game.

Technical Notes

The changes to our base code are extensive—so much so that listing them all here would be too much. Instead, our programmer has prepared a document summarising the technical overhaul. I’ll format it properly and share it with you later this week, so you can see what’s been rebuilt behind the scenes.

Next Steps

Some quests—like “By the Bushes” and “Pesky Pirates”—aren’t available in this patch yet. They’ll be added soon, fully voiced, once our actors wrap up their recordings.
We plan to release smaller patches based on your feedback, and we’re aiming to push version 0.28 to a more polished state by the 25th~28th.
After this, next month forward we'll be back on schedule of introducing new quests monthly!
I've added a few preview images of Kalyskah in Unreal 5... But then realised I was recording my game in a lower resolution. So one more reason for you to download the demo and check it out for yourself!

Possible Issues:

We haven't tested the demo with videocards that are incompatible with DirectX 12 or that doesn't have RTX support. If you face issues, let us know!

[Release] Kalyskah Version 0.27.2 to 0.27.4

Hello everyone!
As we continue collecting feedback from Steamfest, these patches focus on fixes and improvements that could be addressed quickly without requiring a major system overhaul. This includes enhancements to combat mechanics, cutscenes, animations, and enemy AI while also laying the groundwork for upcoming difficulty scaling. More updates will follow as we refine additional features based on your feedback.
Fixes
  • Fixed dungeon boss cutscene to improve animations and prevent visual glitches.
  • Fixed Kalyskah’s pubic hair customisation, ensuring a fully shaved option when set to 0.
  • Fixed chest simulation physics, making movement more consistent. We still aim to disable it for the male characters.
  • Fixed animation slot issues affecting certain weapons and claws.
  • Fixed clipping in Michael’s glasses and adjusted his outfit.
  • Fixed NPCs not looking at Kalyskah when expected during interactions.
  • Fixed UI difficulty settings, ensuring the Steam version does not display the demo level.
  • Fixed a bug causing game controls to disappear after dialogues—a more complete fix is planned for a future update, since for now we are just brute forcing it to always stay on when outside of cutscenes.
  • Animation where the undead finishes Kaly will work correctly
  • Mesh clipping with male undeads were solved
Enhancements
  • Added a tutorial explaining how to block and dodge.
  • Implemented a new blackboard variable for enemy AI, which will be used to adjust their behaviour based on difficulty settings in future updates.
  • Increased enemy blocking chance at higher difficulty levels, making combat more dynamic.
  • Tweaked Michael’s and Alvina's cutscene. We aren't done yet.
  • Improved animation blending in level sequences, ensuring smoother transitions. We aren't done yet!
  • Enhanced facial expressions, allowing better animation intensity and independent blinking. There's more to come!
Combat Adjustments
  • Lowered enemy stamina in Story Mode for a better gameplay balance.
  • Reduced enemy health scaling per level to smooth out combat progression.
  • Blood-Drinking mechanics updated:
    • Parrying enemies before biting them restores less blood compared to sneaking up on them.
    • Stealth feeding is now more effective, making it more reliable for eliminating enemies.
    • Increased overall blood gain, especially when feeding while sneaking.
  • NPC underwear now matches Kalyskah’s, preventing chest physics and clipping issues.
Known Issues
  • Some cutscenes still need refinements.
  • Certain enemy attacks may need further adjustments, particularly after being parried.
  • Additional UI improvements and difficulty scaling adjustments are planned for future updates.
This is just the first wave of fixes based on Steamfest feedback, and we are actively working on further improvements. Keep your feedback coming, and thank you for playing!
