I feel like this latest loop took the longest, but considering all the life changes I've gone through this year and had to juggle for the first time while producing it, it may relatively been a quicker to get out than I give it credit for.  Still, it could've been put out a lot sooner nonetheless!

I made gestures towards creating more loops immediately after that, but that's going to have to wait.  I have a timelapse of this sucka that is, in and of itself, a monstrosity of over thirty clips Imma hafta stitch together!  After that...I realized there was another project I'd been dabbling in that can now afford my full attention.

Whelp! I lied.

Had a look at the situation and decided there was no reason to split the week if I could complete this one by the end of it, which it turns out I could and did!

If it wasn't picked up on already, these two are from an old game called Rusty for the PC98, a japanese exclusive computer platform from the 90's. An awkward but fondly remembered Castlevania clone, the two character here are the main protagonist Rusty and her vampire antagonist Bloody Mary engaging in a battle of lips instead of whips.

Since vampires were involved, I created a cheeky alternate that infers looking at their reflections. It's honestly pretty half-assed. Rusty isn't a vampire in the game, but they were both animated on the same layer, so I couldn't isolate her. Oh well, I'll let y'all decide if the joke lands.

A day late to the finish line, but I'll take it.  There were some minor spots that are technically incomplete, but I simply don't have the technical know-how to take them to that point...yet.

This was a bizarre monster.  Turns out even a seemingly small amount of time given over to Real Life Obligations can cause exponential levels of delays.  Months of work to sketch/ink an already finished loop and the shading/highlights are done in a few weeks.

So yeah, getting back on the horse involved a few stumbles it turns out.

 I like how this turned out, but I like how long it took a bit less. While a lot of Real Life got in the way of the progress, it doesn't shoulder ALL the blame. I've found some tricks though that could assist in allowing me to keep focus in future projects.
