The game still stays in very raw state. This update brings some game mechanic changes and
New notifications system
Until now I only had a notification window which needed to be clicked away by the player. I didn't like this solution as it heavily disturbs the story. Now there is a little notification appearing on the left border of the screen and which disappears after a few seconds. I like that much more as the player can realize it but he doesn't need to do anything to go on in the game. It also works when Ethan misses an appointment, for example when Ethan slept. When Ethan wakes up a little notification appears that inform you that Ethan has missed an appointment. You see the new notifications in the bottom left corner Interactions - when you have new topics a "new!" badge shows it to you
The more Ethan interacts with the characters in the game the more he gets to know them. And the more he knows about them the more topics he can use during a chat to raise their relationship. When Ethan explored a new topic that he can use during a chat you will now be informed by the new notification system. When you open the interaction screen and start a chat you also see a "new" badge over the icons which makes it clear to you that there is a topic that you haven't used yet.
A hint that there is a new chat topic available And again in the topic choice screen a hint - this topic is new and was not used yet Background stories for the characters: Ethan, Zac and Julian
Okay, this is nothing you can see now but the profiles and backstories I've created will give the characters more personality and individuality. At least I hope so.
Outlook to the next steps
Additionally I did some smaller UI enhancements and some code optimization in the background with the goal to make the game more stable. For the next release I plan to focus more on the stories and images.
Fredsburg Encounters published - let's get to play
Maaaan... it was painful and fun at the same time to create this game so far and now it's time to show to the world what I've done so far.
Fredsburg Encounters is now out in its very first demo version.
You play Ethan, a young man who has to leave his hometown. By accident he lands in Fredsburg - and you're part is to guide Ethan through his new life. Finding a job, new friends and getting in touch with all these hot adventurous men of Fredsburg.
The current version of this game has some rough storytelling but mostly it just shows the basic idea I have in mind. There is no goal or ending at the moment - at a certain point, the game will become repetitive. But until then I think it is already fun to play through!
You can play it directly in browser or download it on itch.io.
Publishing announcement: Demo for "Fredsburg Encounters"
It's the project I've been working on for over a year. The mini-games I've released recently are basically just little exercises for me to learn from. I then put into practice what I had learned to develop my project: Fredsburg Encounters.
In this game, you get to know Ethan. Ethan ends up in Fredsburg and builds a new life for himself there. Your job is to go with Ethan on his adventure. You make decisions for him and experience exciting stories together. You get to decide whether Ethan goes to college or works in a bar, whether he focuses on his studies or prefers to hang out with friends. The choices you make have a big impact on how the story unfolds.
Ethan keeps meeting hot guys, because the men in Fredsburg are always on the lookout for a bit of fun with other men. A big part of your job will be to help Ethan get to know these guys, make contacts and have a laugh while you're at it.This is a first version of the interaction system. You decide what Ethan does. Every action influences the relationship between the other character and Ethan.
I'm really excited: I'll be releasing a demo version at the end of this week (May 11, 2025, at the latest). I'm excited to share what I've come up with so far and I'm keen to hear your thoughts.
The demo version of the game will be published on May 11, 2025, at the latest
For a long time, I've wanted to try my hand at developing a small interactive game. I've been working on it for the last two weeks and would now like to present the first demo version to you.
What's it about? There's a naked guy sitting on the bed with a hard-on and he needs your help. So roll up your sleeves and get to work!

I am happy and proud to announce that I've published my first visual novel. It's an experiment to find out if this way of telling a story is something for me. At least it's way for me to use the skills I've acquired over the last few years.
About the story What should be done with young students who attract attention through improper behavior? The principal of Fredsburg College has his own theory and the appropriate program for rehabilitating these young men: as part of the “Work it!” Program, the young men are placed as interns in various companies in the city. Here, experienced men help them to find their way back onto the right path.
Follow one of the program participants, Darragh, through his work week and learn how experienced men help a young man along.
