0.2.24 RC is now live for Snorkelers+
Ho boy, we did it!
0.2.24 is a relatively meaty patch but more importantly WE RELEASED IT! It's been a hell of year and the next year is looking to be quite a banger. We can talk about that, CD's upcoming work and more later this month in the Meta(DEV)log. For now let's delve into the patch!
New MSQ
Waking up on day 11 will now prompt the start of a new MSQ. Everything should go exactly as planned!
New 2D Art
5 new H-CG sets, 2 non-H CGs, new mini-CGs, new variations, new expressions. Nut was cooking for this patch!
Gropler Quest
The entire questline has been refactored and "encounters" no longer happen automatically. Go talk to Lorraine on day 5 to start! (This is the recommended day to start!)
Sprites and Maps
The remaining (currently designed) NPCs have all had their new chibi sprites added. And we've replaced all three Boiling Crab maps.
There are some new placeholder maps as well but those aren't as exciting...
Corruption and Cursed Realm
I've started to add more and more consequences to having certain corruption levels during certain events. I plan to expand this much more during the 0.2 cycle as a whole.
In addition, the cursed realm was been expanded a bit. You should also get a notification when you progress towards removing a curse. Once a curse is completed, go interact with it in the Cursed Realm to remove it.
Next Update
Next up will by 0.2.25s-1 Snapshot with even more Curse expansion! We have some really juicy artwork lined up and something very foreboding... Stay tuned!
