This next  comic officially sets the scene for the Disgraced DU Drow Alt. Universe (DDD?) where, after being defeated by Orin in their duel and disinherited by Bhaal, DU drow is convinced to aid Astarion in his Ascension and to let himself be turned into elf's vampire spawn, in the hopes that Astarion can at least keep his progressively-consuming urges under control until (and if) they find a solution for his predicament. And as an extra topping, this version of DU is also stuck halfway through his Slayer transformation - a process that was advancing indefinitely until he was turned into an undead.

This is obviously the flip-side to the Bhaalist AU - where Astarion is the one who finds himself as the willing-but-reluctant partner in DU drow's ambitions. And much like that other AU, this isn't canonical (though I don't even necessarily like thinking in those terms - what is canonical and what isn't in a multiple-choice adventure, anyway?) but rather a fun thought experiment and, lets be honest, a little bit of a dark-erotica side-venture 😉 though I would like to make it abundantly clear that, just like in the Bhaalist AU, any NSFW of either version of these characters will always feature willing and enthusiastic participation from both parties. Everything else sucks - let them at least have good sex, alright?
