A Very Merry January... Total Progress Report – January 2026

Happy New Year! May this new year bring you much prosperity of wealth... so that you can share a small piece of that with me in exchange for a lot of horny fetish games! Hahaha! I hope everyone had a restful December and got the R&R you needed to keep moving forward.

I’ll try and keep this brief, since I posted a big long reflective blog on the previous year and the games I have ideas for in this one so I’ve spent a lot of this week yappin’ already.

Corruption Crucible – Steam and Itchio Progress

Just in time for Xmas, I managed to get everything ready and working for the Steam approval process! In order to get the approval for the store page, I need to pass two inspections; the Store Page approval and the Game Build. I heard back on Wednesday that the Store Page approval is on hold until the Game Build is inspected, which is ongoing at the time of writing this.

This is something that has always happened, so while it’s kind of annoying that I will have to re-submit the Store Page once the game is approved, it’s something that has always been a part of the process. I might take the time to dress up the store page with some gifs if I feel like it, but all I can do is wait until things are approved.

Assuming there is nothing wrong with the Store Page itself, we should be on track for a release around the 22nd of this month. More details to come once the page is up and wishlistable (very important to help boost initial reach on their page, and necessary to help offset the 30% cut that the platforms takes).

Corruption Crucible – New Goodies! New Levels!

We hit a few of our milestones and I’ve put Zinovia_Star (the artist commissioned for most of my games) to work! Based on the timeline, not all of the work is able to be completed by the January release, but I made sure that the fan content will be in the game with a brand new level or two to make good use of it!

This means that the Bimbo Healing Station, the associated struggle/capture animation, and the game over CG will be ready for you to enjoy come the end of the month. As you can see in the teaser video posted, I’ve got the prototype up and running (waiting for art now).

If you don’t have too much health, walking in the booth will cause you to be seized by mechanical tentacles, giving you an invigorating bimbo makeover! No joke, this machine actually heals you over time as the animation plays out. That being said, if you stay too long, you’ll be completely made over into a bimbo with nothing but head-empty loyalty to the Extraterrestrial invaders.

For now, it’s a fixed healing value, and if you don’t escape before your health reaches 169%, it’s brain off for you. The struggle bar will get smaller, just like the other bimbofication struggle. This time, the size is not based on how long the struggle lasts, but how much health you have. The more health you have, the smaller the bar gets, you greedy slut! I’m considering changing up the formula to change the healing value based on how many times you’ve been captured, or maybe throwing in a random bit to mess with people trying to game the healing to get as close to 169% as possible before escaping.

I plan for at least one, likely two new levels. Whether these will be secret levels or part of the main track is yet to be decided. If they were added on to the main track, I’d probably have to rewrite some of the intro text and change up some things, so I might just make them secrets that can be unlocked.

Based on some feedback and suggestions, I’ll be adding some info to the level pause screen, telling you how many kills/secrets/captures you have currently in the level and maybe throwing in some other info to make it less plain (difficulty description). In addition to that, don’t worry if you haven’t found the secrets from the current version yet, because I also plan to add some (subtle) tells to where the invisible switches are. It was one of those things where I ran out of time to implement before the release.

More polish is coming too. Buttons and moving platforms now have sound effects associated with them, and I’ve been looking into footsteps and a subtle headbob effect for the player. I’ve also prototyped some improved combat, which included the players and enemies having a split second flinch when taking most types of damage and a more evolved aiming system (at least for hitscan weapons like the pistol and the Spin Gun).

Other things that I am testing out include more variants of enemies I have animations for. I hope to have another Hunter variant that uses a short range, rapid Gas Gun (functionally a flamethrower) to hit you with the growth gas during hectic combat!

The Chapter 3 art was just commissioned, so BDGA will have that done for us sometime in the middle of this month. I have a feeling it’s going to be super hot, especially for all the latex encasement enjoyers.

Looks like I get a week of extra dev time before the update this month! This should help balance the release of Corruption Crucible on Steam/itchio and any other complications that crop of during the process.

Wrapping up!

With the new content for Corruption Crucible, the continuing polish, and the release of the Steam and itchio versions, it’s going to be a busy start to the year! With any luck, however, it will be one that pays off bigtime for Corruption Crucible and even a potential Episode 2? Only time will tell...
