SCARY VTUBER TEXT-POST

TL;DR: I have opened a Pixiv FANBOX as an alternative to SubscribeStar. I highly suggest people who’d like to support me use FANBOX or RPlay instead of SubscribeStar. You will receive the same Monthly ASMR on all three of these platforms and it puts my eggs in three separate baskets. I will be trying to focus more on my non-adult content such as YouTube and Twitch; in the end I think this means you are going to receive more Kumo time spent together. I really appreciate you and everything you’ve helped me achieve this far. Let’s do even more cool things together and make lots more cherished memories!

Adapting As many of you know, I’ve had to deal with social media platforms cracking down on my content for the length of my time as a creator… YouTube takedowns, the Patreon Ban, Fansly asking me to change my model or leave their site, now SubscribeStar too. I’ve had the feeling before, but it’s become something of a danger to me now… I have to make some changes to how I approach content. For the last five years, most of my income came from adult-oriented ASMR. With the chance of waking up any given day to that income stream being taken away, I need to change it up. Though I will still make adult-ASMR because I find it fun, I need to do my best to make Twitch, YouTube, and Sponsorships work better for me. It’s a little silly that only days after being interviewed by a magazine as one of the bigger English speaking AVTubers I’m here telling you I need to focus less on the “adult” part and more on the “VTuber” part. It’s gotten to this weird fork in the road where I feel as though I’ve been given the choice between two options when it comes to approaching Adult ASMR:

1. Make “safe-content” for adults that sells well for everyone and that I have no interest in. Ultimately this makes me feel worthless and like just another egirl selling herself on the internet.

OR

1. Make content that is meant for me and my community that I enjoy with the understanding that this more like a “thanks for your support” and isn’t something I can wave around publicly or promote at all outside of our community. I truly love being a VTuber. I didn’t start doing this to make adult-content, I just happened to like adult-content and began making income doing it. I will continue to do what I do because no one else will. But I’ll be spending more time improving and creating for the “VTuber” part of my content and less time on the “adult” part.

To the Koomers… I have truly appreciated all of your kind words of support in the last 24 hours. I freaked out a little last night… I guess money tends to do that to people. Sorry if my reaction worried you. I am going to try to deal with this like an adult and in a professional business-woman manner. When I was having a conversation with my accountant earlier that morning I told him it didn’t really bother me how bad things get as long as I can still be a VTuber full-time. I don’t care about anything more than being by your side. As the online landscape (and the VTuber landscape changes) I will still be here. There is no fail-state. I love being a VTuber. I won’t leave you. Ever.

My Plans for Now 1. I will still be making Monthly Patron-Only ASMR. You can find it on RPlay, Pixiv FANBOX and SubscribeStar. (FANBOX link is in X bio.)

1. My SubscribeStar will remain active for a number of months; however, points for commissions will not be added to the Point List post-March 2026. In order to better serve my community, and put time into content that will allow me to continue being an AVTuber full-time, I will be stopping ASMR commissions after all points are spent. a. I will honor the points for commissions until everyone has used their totals. In the case of users with smaller amounts of points (10pt, 15pt, 20pt…) I am working on some sort of solution. It may be that I run a sale that gives short audios for small point counts. This could take me some time to work through, so I’d need to ask for your patience on that process.

2. I will be posting the monthly patron ASMR on both RPlay and Pixiv FANBOX on the last day of the month just like I do on SubscribeStar. On SubscribeStar it will be placed in a Mega Drive link, but again I highly suggest SubscribeStar members swap to either RPlay or FANBOX memberships.

3. I will be trying to improve my YouTube and Twitch content and rate of output. Subs and memberships there help me a lot, so thank you for supporting me there. I also have a Ko-Fi where I sometimes sell merch and you can donate as well.

But it seems I will need to remove my content here in the next few hours. I'm scared and I'm not sure what I'm going to do. As you know, this is the majority of my income. I'm hoping we can find a replacement where I can make content and you can support me freely. But truly, I'm really scared. I don't make enough off of Twitch and YouTube to do this fulltime so.... I'm not sure what will happen.

I want to tell you it will be alright. That we'll find a new place for our monthly subscriber system and some fun ASMR. I want to tell you I'm going to be okay. I love you so much.
